  1. I’m in a similar situation as yourself on the audio upgrade. I’ve got the same non-Bose system (2020 Custom) as well. I added front component sets and coax speakers in the rear doors (all Infinity Reference speakers). Stock HU feeding an LC7i into a Kicker Key 200.4 amp. The amp has DSP and time alignment built in. Sounds mediocre at best. Really muffled actually. For the harness, I found one on crutchfield and made my own loop back. Very simple actually. Fed front channels into the LC7i and left the rear door channels alone to feed the rear doors of the stock HU power (not amp’d). The idea was to run the components in a bi-amped config (4 channels feeding front door speakers and new dash tweets all on separate channels) to take advantage of the amps time alignment capabilities. Issue is the amplification of chimes and signal sounds. These come in from the front channel HU output. In my config I had to turn the gain at the LC2i down to limit amping those sounds. Problem is it’s limiting the regular audio signal at the same time. I’ve ran it this way for a while since it’s a PITA to remove the rear seat and I needed my truck back (ran out of time to F with it). Hoping someone with more experience than myself or with a similar config has solved this issue can weigh in and help yourself and me. I feel my issue is a tuning problem or an LC2i config issue. Best of luck. Following your build.
  2. Do both the usb outlets work with CarPlay? How do you access files on the SD card?
  3. Has anybody done this mod to their custom or CTB? Guy in the video replaced the factory dash usb block with the 13525431 unit. Description says it added usb-c and has access to files stored on the SD card. I pulled mine out and the plugs are the same. Would like to hear some success stories before I pull the trigger. Thanks.
  4. THIS is exactly what I’m looking for. How much shipped to CA?
  5. GREAT looking pickup. This is what I’m looking to do. Trade the trail boss black wheels for the stockers. Are those 285/70-18’s? 1.5” level kit???
  6. The mirrors on the max trailering package look ridiculous (very functional, but UGLY). Buy the black one. Still plenty capable for the off and on towing you do but much better for the day to day.
  7. I love my 6 liter like everyone else, but damn if they aren't hogs. Gonna pick on you 2500hdee...Quick number game for you. 223k miles at a GENEROUS 14mpg equals just under 16000 gallons of fuel run through that bad boy. So at a CONSERVATIVE $2.00 per gallon, you've spent over $32,000 dollars in gas over your trucks life. I played the same game with my truck. 94000 miles and 6800 gallons of fuel burned (per the digital display). Kinda sucks looking at things that way...
