  1. They've done the exact same things on mine. Steering gear helped some but made it worse in the wheel. They still have Pico readings they can't fix. Currently in a lemon law against GM. Hope they can fix yours. Mine is a 16 that started pretty much from day 1. My 14 and 15 were great but this 16 has assured these issues are real and do exist.
  2. Not sure what the fuss is about. Seems he is talking about 1/4 mile runs at a strip. Some trucks were limited at 112, if you need a few extra mph cause you wanna run it down a strip, any handheld can do this. I see no problem hitting 100+ quickly then backing down.
  3. To sum it up: You either have the "Projection" Icon or not. Simple as that. If you have the Icon, you have Carplay/Android Auto. If no Icon, you received $200 credit, have a 15 radio or some odd combination. Now if you have the Icon, you came preloaded with Apple Carplay. But most did not come with Android Auto as it was not available for launch until mid March? Most every truck I have come across has not been updated and the window was so short that GM sent trucks with AA that finding a truck that you can plug right into and run AA is slim. So Icon, good, update and run. Be sure to run a OEM or similar "data" cable. Also you will have to click Allow a few times on your phone before your phone will project onto the vehicles screen.
  4. Read what was being quoted from the beginning. It was all just in multiple posts.
  5. Yes, if you read through the thread, we have established this. This was in reference to someone else, hence him quoting me and vice versa. I guess I should clarify my posts better since it seems people don't read the entire thread before posting.
  6. Carplay came preloaded on all, but the Android Auto was behind and had to be updated. Hence you either had the "projection" icon or not. Yes, some had to be updated, my truck included...but regardless it had the icon.
  7. It's simple to tell, you either have the icon on the home screen or not.
  8. You either have it or don't. Personally I love car play, Google maps are far better then any built in GPS. I also solely use spotify for streaming my music, so having that on the screen is nice. I refused to even look at the trucks with a $200 credit.
  9. The 3.42 in a 6 speed is equivalent to the 3.73 on the old 4 speed. Yet you still have a mechanical advantage. The 3.73 on a 6 speed is similar to the 4 speeds 4.10. It's a lot more then that, but you get the idea.
  10. Bringing thread back from dead. Had a 6.2/8 speed I wanted to tune, but instead had issues, and ended up trading for a 16 5.3. I had a 14 5.3 but man the 5.3 is hard to go back to. So sluggish and slow. Will be doing this E85 tune to my 5.3. What I wanna know in the stock 6.2 vs e85 tuned 5.3 graph is this...was the 6.2 not dynod in 5th while the 5.3 in 3rd? Would that not help the 6.2 read slightly higher as it is closer to the desirable 1.1 ratio? Just interested in how close I can get to my 6.2 driving dynamic. I can't stand how much throttle it takes to get this 5.3 moving...
  11. My truck has muffler delete. Noise happens like OP stated...sounds from up front. Was going to bring it up on next oil change. Sounds like exhaust leak. Low rpm cruising for me.
  12. Yes. Just haven't said anything about it. 15 6.2 as well.
  13. Muffler delete. Did it to my 6.2 and haven't looked back. Sure maybe a corsa would sound a bit sportier...but for $50 vs. Over 1k...nah. Skip to .54 for sound. During normal driving, hardly hear it, but when you get on it, it emits just enough of the right sounds.
  14. All I can think about is how this would all pan out on e85 with tuning...520/560 would be fun.
