  1. Hah, yes. Even covered in mud these wheels from the Sierra All Terrain package are my favorite OEM wheels. Not likely to upgrade them for a few years at least.
  2. Not the greatest quality pics, but these are from last summer. Can't wait for this year.
  3. We had a great time, love this truk. Thanks! Yep, got the regular/standard bed (6'6"). One thing I forgot to mention, my best 50km on the trip was a 6.7 L/100km (35MPG), my best 100km on the trip was 8.2 L/100km (28.7 MPG), and best 650km was 11.9 L/100km (19.75 MPG). Quite the range but had some very flat/downhill areas that contributed to the very good 50km and 100km stat.
  4. I hit the image limit, heres the last few: The second last one there is one of my favorites, love the LED lights. Pics are from around Arches Natl park and Moab, and some from Antelope Island by Salt Lake.
  5. Okay, so I got around to uploading some more pictures. The full album with larger and high res images can also be found here: http://imgur.com/a/EbiNc You can also click the thumbnails below for larger and full res images.
  6. Took the two day old truck with 300km on it and put on another 6000km over the last two weeks through Wyoming/Colorado/Utah and did some very light offroading (truck is stock Z71 right now) in Moab. Wish I had gotten a couple more shots of the articulation in this one, the stance was opposite on the driver side with the left rear having about a half inch of clearance from the wheel well. More to come, too many driveway and parking lot shots on here.
  7. Exactly why I declined my first build (was built without the sliding window as ordered). I did not want to compromise the things I wanted in my truck even though it cost me an extra 8 weeks before delivery. Picking up the second build tomorrow finally.
  8. Thanks for the info. The dry weight on the one we're looking at is 6822 so its good to hear it tows yours (at 7830) well with the WDH! More and more I can't wait for my truck to arrive!
  9. Good to hear and alleviates part of my worry in my question above about towing that much weight. Your trailer appears to be quite similar to what we were looking at. Is that by chance the Cruiser VS-28BHOB? It appears to be a rebranded Crossroads RV - the one we are looking at is a Maple Country 28BH which is also a rebranded Crossroads.
  10. My truck I have on order is a 5.3L Crew Cab 4x4 with the All Terrain package (3.42) and a standard box - tow rating is 9500lbs. We're looking at buying a TT with a listed 6822lb dry weight. Fresh water tank is 40gal (~334lbs), and if the 80gal grey and 40gal black were also full (unlikely to drive with either tank full but just running numbers here), we're looking at another 1001lbs. Estimating about 500lbs for food/gear on top of that, total weight if the tanks happen to all be full is 8657lbs. Is this too much trailer for this truck with a WDH? Thanks!
