  1. Hey y'all, I'm having an issue with my 2015 Silverado. It was driving fine last week, no issues starting. Drove it around running some errands and came home last Tuesday evening. Went to go start it the next morning and nothing. Dash lights lit up and gauge reads 12V. But it did the ole “click” and no start. Talked to a mechanic at the dealership who thought it might be a dead cell in the battery causing it to read 12V but when you go to start it it drops below the starting threshold. So I jumped it off another truck and it fired right up first try. So I bought a battery. Threw the battery in thinking my worries we solved and... “click”, nothing. Then I spent the next few days in the hospital with a sick newborn and now I’m back here trying to solve the mystery of my dead truck. I’ve read a lot of people saying it was their starter that was causing their issues. I don’t believe this is the case for mine since it fired right up when jumped. I haven’t had a chance to inspect the ground, but again, I’m not sure this could be the problem either since it fired right up when jumped. Anyone have any insight or experiences like mine?
