  1. Looks great... any rubbing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What's the fix? Hard to believe a software update will fix everyone's problem. Especially since some changes were made after the 2014 year to remedy electrical issues. If GM knew about a problem that could affect everyone's steering and the fix was just a software update, they should've already done it.
  3. I finally got a chance this weekend to look at the lights in more detail to figure out the problem. It turned out that the bulbs weren't upside down, but they were turned slightly so that the wire was facing between 7 o'clock and 8 o'clock. I turned the bulbs so that the wire was facing directly to 6 o'clock and now I have a nice cutoff line with no shadows in the beam. Also, the problem of the light pattern wiggling is now gone. I figure the light pattern wiggling was due to the wire vibrating and I was seeing the movement from it in the shadow. I hope that helps someone who doesn't have that clean cutoff line or a light pattern with shadows in it.
  4. I recently installed TRS's Morimoto kit for my 2014 Silverado with projector headlights. The lights are super bright, but the pattern seems off. Does anyone else's light pattern look like this with the stock projectors? I did order the H11b lights, and they are seated completely in the housing from what I can tell...
  5. Just had Borla's Touring system installed. No drone and no resonance. Can only tell if in V4 if listening for it.
  6. It's funny you brought up tuning. I recently tuned my truck with the canned tune from DiabloSport. The truck ran amazing.... For about 100 miles then went back to crap. Anyone know why it would do that? For instance, last week I was pulling into traffic going uphill so had to accelerate quickly. The truck went through first gear great, then as soon as it shifted into second it was like the power was cut in half and it was having a hard time accelerating, while traffic was catching up to me fast. It's frustrating owning this truck because one day I want to sell it because it's driving so poorly and the next day it's fine. Even just going uphill slowly my truck bogs down. Of course, dealer always says nothing is wrong if there's no code... I'm really looking at going to another manufacturer shortly. My '08 Sierra was much more enjoyable to drive, but I'm not sure I can support GM anymore after this truck.
  7. Well I'm glad others have experienced some of the same issues. Thanks for the TSB. I'll show it to my service dept and see if it gets me any where. I had Lew tune my truck for me. Honestly, I think he did an excellent job at making it drive better considering what he's working with. I need to shoot him an email and see if we can tune out some of the eagerness to shift too quickly. I'd recommend him to anyone. Like I said, it seems like a mechanical issue to me. I do think they over engineered everything for gas mileage on these trucks - just too much going on. I'd rather get 4 mpg less and just have the truck drive like it should. I heard the new ford f150 will have a "sport" mode.... Would've been a nice option on our trucks. I was alone during my fart experience and the cooled seats. I do hope to have someone in the back seat next time. Direct line of fire.
  8. It seems like I've read of other people reporting the same hard 1-2 shift, and slipping on the 2-3 shift. Has anyone not had it fixed some how?
  9. Honestly, the dealer is worthless. I've already taken it there twice and the say, "no codes, no problem." I've got the diablo intune with a custom tune.... supposedly undetectable when returned to stock. At least, that's what diablosport themselves told me directly.
  10. It's a 5.3l V8 4x4. No codes have popped up. Is there a way I can check if it's a stuck valve or shift solenoid?
  11. I know it's not the brakes for my truck. I saw your thread and checked that out. I actually have my truck tuned. The tune helped the truck some, but this almost seems like a mechanical problem.
  12. Forgot to mention drivelash can be pretty terrible at times
  13. Has anyone had any luck getting the transmission fixed? My truck just seems inconsistent as far as the transmission goes. One day it drives perfect and the next it will drive me crazy. Anyone experience these problems: - hard shift from 1-2.... Almost like the tranny is gonna fall out kinda hard shift - transmission feels like it's slipping when shifting from 2-3 resulting in hesitation and loss of power - shifting through gears too quickly resulting in the truck bogging down. Result is having to floor it and then it down shifts two gears. If it would just hold the gears a little longer this wouldn't be necessary. On a side note, I let out a squeaker of a fart with the seat cooler on and I thought I passed a dead animal. Note, if on date you can't sneak out small fart with seat cooler on as it effectively magnifies it and circulates it to the entire cabin.
  14. Well, I loaded the log file on to the computer and it seems like all that saved was the fuel pressure. At least, that's all I can figure out what to look at. I'll make another and send it your way TDT.
  15. Yeah, still have the problem. Took it in to dealership twice, but they aren't any help. They just say there's no codes, and won't look into it further. Seems almost like a fuel pressure problem or spark problem, but I don't have the means or know how to check it out myself. I did get a diablosport tuner, and the canned tune seems to help. Just started the process for a custom tune from Lew. I did do a log file and noticed the fuel pressure drops when first accelerating. Does anyone know if this is normal?
