  1. Zcusker, Answer to my issue was to take back to actual stock first. No more issues. Put on a suspension Maxx leveling kit tonight with a rough country rear block and rear shock extenders. All my issues were GONE at stock. Will post as I drive it tomorrow
  2. Next up, a CAMBER Kit is getting installed soon to get somewhere around a +1 to a +1.5 camber for alignment reasons. GM sensitivity for alignment is over the top. We will see what happens soon. The MAX camber for factory settings get to around -1.2 to -1.0.
  3. So, after chipping and dialing in the speedo to a GNATS ass perfect. No Stability fix. Still pumps ABS brakes on slow corners. Re-aligned again. ABS wires have plenty of slack. Tested and retested ABS wires. No issues. Now getting a camber kit to get +1-+1.5 as GM's system for checking alignment and steering angle is more sensitive than my EX wife. Shop is ordering Camber kit today to install and then re align and reset steering sensor. Have a feeling ABS will be pumping till i trade it off, which will be soon. NO FIX YET.
  4. arkenzo: Thank you so much for your reply. I am actually scheduled to take it back to my tire guys that installed all my stuff tomorrow. Worth a try. I appreciate any ideas. Thank you!
  5. Ok fellas. So, calibrating speedo WILL NOT change your life or cure your issues. I installed Edge performance chip today and calibrated my speedo, after changing tire size correctly, smaller, bigger and EXACT speedo to GPS speed, NOTHING will cure the ABS/Stabilitrak issue. Sorry. Chip DID make my truck faster, just not around corners....hahaha! So, as far as tire sizes are concerned, that is NOT the thing making your Godforsaken Stabilitrak system turn on around a corner.
  6. Has anyone REROUTED the ABS wires with a bracket made for this? I see Rocky Ridge Conversion trucks has FACTORY abs wires with their own Rerouting bracket. I called them, haven't heard back to see if they will sell the brackets. The reason for them, gives the lines enough slack when turning sharp, may be stretching the wires JUST enough to send a short signal to the stabilitrak system.
  7. zcusker: Your post also eases my mind concerning my truck being a Denali with Magnetic Ride Control. I thought I may have an issue due to that system and that is why none of the other lifted/leveled trucks don't have my issue. But you don't have Magnetic Ride Control and you have the same concern. Clears that dilemma up for me real quick. I called GM Tac line again today. They have escalated it, will maybe hear from them in a week or so. Will post if I hear something from them. Leveling a truck cannot cause this issue. Not possible. I also have had the concern since 500 miles. The 2017 software is ALL NEW. Completely different than a 16 or older. I have a feeling this concern will never be resolved. Aligning CAN be an issue with a 17, but I have had mine checked and rechecked. It never cured the ABS pumping. I have a feeling it is the YAW sensor myself. Too sensitive for 17 and up models. Any roll a.k.a. turning corners may be setting off the YAW control.
  8. amxguy1970 Yeah, you are a real piece of work. Did you not READ that I DID put it back to stock and STILL have the problem? Stick with the AMX forums please.
  9. zcusker: Ok, now someone else feels my pain. So I WORK for a GM Dealer. I also have a leveling kit on my 17 Sierra 6.2. I have the EXACT same issue. You aren't gunna like what I have to tell you. So, for 6 months, my GM service department has done the following to my truck all with a whopping 3400 miles on the odometer to remedy this: -Replaced left front hub-found stuff slung inside it. Didn't fix issue -Reset Ride control to zero more than 6 times -Reset Steering angle sensor more than 6 times -Reset Yaw/Stability sensor more than 6 times -Per GM Tac line, graphed all 4 ABS sensors while I drove and the tech sat next to me with laptop. All graphed correctly -Removed leveling kit and put the ACTUAL factory tires BACK on. NO DIFFERENCE MADE! Problem still there Also, since we have like 10 trucks like this in stock all factory fresh, I DID get ONE of them to do this at FACTORY specs! Also, we have a GM AUTHORIZED truck conversion company that builds HUNDREDS of lifted trucks a year. I have 2 of them in stock NOW. These baby's are 6 Inch TOTAL lift jobs with 35" Humungous tires on them, NEITHER of them do this. I called the company that builds them, they never heard of such a thing EVER and they have build dozens of 17's with full lifts. So, yes, holding the Stabilitrak/TC button WILL shut off the Stabilitrak(which is for sure your issue, not traction control) HOWEVER, it is set to come BACK on at 30 MPH and your abs module will start activating again. How do you remedy this? Well, you aren't gunna like this, but here's what I had to do 3 months ago. Pull fuse 3 under hood, then you will permanently get Service ABS, Service Stablitrak, Service trailer brake control on EVERY day, AND you WILL NOT HAVE CRUISE control! Same damn fuse. So for 3 months on a $65k truck, I have driven around with NO ABS/Stablitrak/Cruise control because it is actually SAFER than being on the highway exit ramp and having my ABS start pumping my brakes. This concern is DIRECTLY related to Stablitrak and all the inputs that activate Stabilitrak. So, that could mean the Stabilitrak module, ABS sensors/hubs, Yaw sensor, tires, the pitch of the vehicle since it is taller, Ride height control, Ride control reset, etc, etc. My fine truck also has had to have 2 factory power running boards replaced, windshield(factory defects), right hand mirror replaced, and my THIRD torque converter just arrived today. Yes, 2 torque converters in 3400 miles. Since I work at a GM Dealership, I feel I am being ignored by GM. We have called Tac line many times. Nothing fixes the issue. If you DO find a fix, PLEASE contact me! We will NOT be the only ones having this issue that I can assure you. You are just the second person I have seen with the issue besides myself. GM employee people, this is an issue. I am an indirect employee of yours. I am being brushed aside. I have been here for over 21 years at the same dealership. I have sold THOUSANDS of GM vehicles. I need answers NOW. I know some of you watch these Forums. Please contact me ASAP! This is unacceptable.
