  1. I fixed my headache myself...just traded it in to Toyota, should have bought a Toyota to begin with, I lost 1K, but having the stress gone is well worth it...I'll never buy a GM product again!
  2. I wish I got the same results as hotrodz37, gm told me case is closed, we aren't doing anything, your truck is normal.
  3. Mroma are you still on this forum? Did you swap from a chevy to gm, and also why did you pick the z71, was something said to you from GM that led you to swap into this model? I want out of mine, but not sure I want to get into another one that might also vibrate!
  4. Hey Mike Is it true that you had to pay to swap out your truck? What did you trade into, what happens if that one has the vibration as well?
  5. Hey gdadlow, I read your post yesterday about your vibration being fixed by balancing the driveshafts, but now your post is gone...is it fixed?
  6. My build date is July, the tires didn't do anything to improve it. So Jeff is away? I've left 2 messages and no one calls back or tells me that he's away, such good service!
  7. Hey Mike, Let me know what they say tomorrow. Where do I find the build date?
  8. Hey Mike, I had the bridgestones put on my truck this morning and it didn't fix mine either. I too am waiting to hear back from Jeff for the next step. I have a vibration in 8 cylinder mode and it gets a whole lot worse in 4 cylinder mode, and they want me to buy a $200 aftermarket module to disable the 4 cylinder mode...I don't think so, maybe they should fix their own problems!
  9. Hey Mike, Yes, the whole process is so frustrating. Jeff called me this afternoon and said we are both getting the Bridgestones. I'm getting mine next Saturday morning, I'm assuming that I'll have to wait about 4 hours while they do it, another frustrating part of this. I have spent too many hours either at the dealership or driving back and forth. I had that Nissan Rogue earlier this week, we should be given a new truck for a rental. Also I have definitley noticed a vibration in the 4 cyl mode under light accelleration, Jeff mentioned and aftermarket part to disable that...I don't think I should have to pay for it, but I might try it...or maybe just trade the truck for a Toyota! 10. Jeff and Patrick are both trying to help, but say they have to go step by step, and said they aren't allowed to swap from another vehicle. I asked that multiple times, since to me that's the easiest way to troubleshoot this. if you have a truck on the lot with no vibration, then swap and see, but they can't or won't do that. Jeff said with the case now open with GM, maybe they can replace all 4 tires and wheels, but we'll see....pretty bad when my 11 year old Dodge drove better than this truck! hope yours is fixed, curious about the updated tires too? Mark
  11. Mroma, The technician and foreman said they felt the vibration, the engineer today didn't acknowledge any vibration...I don't know how that could be, mine vibrates from 15 to 75mph, and if you let it sit for a day or 2 in the extreme cold and then drive it it will shake you out of the truck, yet some how he says its normal! I have called GM and opened a case, and now have to wait for a response from Jeff or Patrick from Quirk, they know how unhappy I am with this whole process. I'm hoping it doesn't have to go to lemon law.
  12. Did you bring your truck to Quirk in Braintree mroma 23? Mine was there today, for the 4th time, been through all the road force balancing twice, replaced 2 tires, driveshaft spun 180 degrees, and it has only gotten worse, especially when it sits in the cold and I first drive it. The engineer drove mine today and said mine was in normal specs and nothing i wrong. I have 18" Goodyear Assurance. I would love to know if those Michelin LTX's fix Dredds truck Mark
