  1. I know your post of the ruby red truck is old... but....

Did you have to add any spacers with the 275/70R18 setup with the stock rims?  Any ABS light issues or anything else funky?

    Thanks

  2. Your luck is as bad as mine. It could be raining vaginas and I'd get hit in the head with a dick. Glad you're ok. Oh... and you are on the right track for your next truck. My next one will be a quiet, smooth riding semi-stocker.
  3. I've made several longer posts about this problem I had on a 2007 I had. So I will keep it short for now. I cannot stress enough how important it is to watch out for mold after having this leak issue. You may or not ever smell anything but you or even more important a child that is sensitive to such could become very sick. I'm an Asthmatic and this nearly put me six feet under. Not a joke! GM had to rip out and replace a LOT of my interior due to black mold.
  4. 'Fixin to make a run to the beer store. Two more miles and I will turn over 20,000 miles. Not too bad for a 2014. Maybe I won't get reamed too bad when I trade it in on the 2019's when they come out. Yeah right. lol I'm just a sucker for that new truck smell. Let see... I had a '96,'99,'03,two '07's a classic and new body style, a '12 and now I'm on my third 2014. First two were lemons. Hey... I didn't say I was the most frugal guy with my money. I just like new trucks. ?
  5. I bet ten bucks the 2019's are going to be vibrators to. They keep trying to make every part lighter, thinner, stiffer ect , this and sourcing parts from too many vendors with poor quality control issues. I used to be a plant manager at a textile company and I can guarantee you that our QC was 100% better before we went thru our ISO 9000 certification. There is probably not just one problem causing all our vibe issues, but a millimeter here on this part, an ounce difference on that part, a "whatever" there on the next thing... well you get the idea. All these very minor variances which can all be in spec for each part in itself can add up to just enough to cause problems.
  6. Haha... that's funny. I loved Willie Wonka. Even tho he was creepy as hell. Lol. I can hear him saying that. Oomph pa loomph pa dippy de do........ awe hell... I'll be humming that all friggin' night.
  7. That is a complaint box. On 6.2 models it is a shredder for speeding tickets.
  8. Yeah, I am shure that 91/93 will fix your problem. Let us know how it turns out. And if all is well then it will be time to get a Blackbear tune to unleash the potential of that 6.2
  9. That is called detonation. It is BAD. The 6.2 is a 11.5 to 1 compression engine. Anything but premium fuel is asking fo trouble. You seriously can't afford an extra few bucks every fill up? And you don't think your 50,000 dollar truck is worthy of 91/93 fuel? YOU FINE SIR DO NOT DESERVE THE HONOR OF OWNING A 6.2 !!!!! ?
  10. It just looks like you have the pedal to the metal. Haha
  11. Try driving in M7. This will disable V4 mode and really helps driving in town. Then just switch up to 8th at highway speeds. Short of a custom tune....? Well thank the GM engineers. Not to rub it in but my Blackbear tuned 6 speed is perfect.
  12. If you do any work yourself the dealer will only use that against you if things go south. If under warranty let them handle it.
  13. Man those tires look good. How 'bout a review? Especially how do they ride? How bad is the "low speed, driving on cleats " feeling? What other tires would you compare them close to? Thanks in advance.
  14. I have the RC upper and lower spacers and if I had to do all over again I would just do bottom only. I've had ball joints creaking and making noise since the first week. I had two reputable 4x4 shops check out the install and everything was installed correctly. This is with aluminum control arms. With both spacers it's really stretching it. Also with both spacers @2.5 on the front only it looks nose high at times. But it is dead level.
