  1. No problem at all with this exact setup. Stock snowflakes look great wrapped in 35" rubber and function flawlessly both on & off-road with the 6" BDS 2.5 DSC coilover kit using factory UCAs...
  2. This is the only thing visible on mine (systems status via backlit led)....control box is hidden up under the dash.
  3. Another recommendation here for the Redarc Tow Pro Elite! Here is my setup with the control dial within easy reach on the center console. Brain box is hidden up underneath the front dash completely out of sight.
  4. Corsa / Borla (or GM branded of the same) catback systems. Way back around 2007, there was one of these GBs on this site where I purchased a complete Corsa Sport system for around $600 and change. Would love to see those kind of numbers again.
  5. Getting ready to upgrade the exhaust on my '17 CCSB L86. I've had full Corsa Sport systems on my past 5.3l Sierras (02, 04, 07) and was always 100% pleased, even after years of mileage. I know the typical Corsa sound and can only imagine how great it will be with the 6.2 (online sound files do little justice). My question is, would there be any advantage to going with the comparable Borla system? From what I've found, the Borla is usually a few hundred bucks cheaper than the Corsa and I like the sound files I've heard of the S-type and ATAK systems on the L86 trucks. Borla seems to have more sportscar-like exhaust 'blip' between shifts whereas the Corsa has the traditional classy rumble down low and wail up high. Any opinions on one system vs. the other? Also, if I went with Borla I was thinking of buying direct unless there are advantages of going through with the GM-branded system/part. PS: Way back around 2007 when I purchased the last Corsa system for my then new NNBS, there was an awesome group purchase / special vendor deal found here on gm-trucks.com where the vendor was discounting the $1200 systems to like $600+change. I sure wish I could find one of those deals again!
  6. Nice work....maybe I won't have to wait on that custom mount after all like I had to on my 4Runner. May try direct mounting my ARB Dual tank compressor direct to the spare battery tray. PS for your wiring: I've always ran the SPod system with great results. Compressor is powered direct to battery but power (on/off) controlled by the SPod system from in-cab switching. I'll probably go this route in this truck as well when adding my compressor ( http://www.4x4spod.com/product_p/700-mod.htm )
  7. I used 1.5" BORA on the rear of my '17 and no stud trimming was required. Rear track width now matches front perfectly. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/u99kj1U9_PmRTH5JGXn90GBOwMV4wyo39qWu4z5Fmnbb_KM0UyZLX5Ww9hZ7oR0DygkwBMXm4T1-jhNGa5YGvNeyRKgKtrX_FCZYN0_LQCxLXaxqfXq_DgNCNQVjayVCFXkCeObbeA=w2400
  8. For $115 direct from the manufacturer, I don't think I would even bother (or trust ) a used set http://www.motorsport-tech.com/special/truck/gmc_s?Next=16-30
  9. You most certainly can use OEM wheels with the BDS 6" kit. If you have the Denali 20s then they are the same width as my 20" snowflakes, and I'm 99% sure the GM 22s are as well so you shouldnt have fitment issues unless there is something specific to the BDS Denali / Magnaride kit that I'm not aware of. I do have 1.5" BORA spacers on the rear not out of necessity but simply to even out the front/rear track width after lifting. No issues whatsoever with the Stabilitrak or other vehicle systems.
  10. While I'm sure there will be one of these next generation GMCs in my garage after a few years, I still cant seem to get over the new dash design. Aside from the color HUD, this new dash design just looks to me like a giant step backward from what we currently have. Everything in my 2017 SLT Premium is within easy reach, solid layout, large buttons & stout toggles, no acres of blank black plastic. This new dash just looks so barren to me with lots of tiny buttons where we used to have knobs and toggles. What I have now is not as flashy as that Dodge 12" screen, but its simple and functional; this new one just looks extremely 'busy'. Also, for everyday usage I'll take my manual parking brake any day over an electronic button just waiting for failure.
  11. I have always run the ARB on-board Twin compressor on my 4Runners and IMHO they simply can't be beat. They will air up all 4 of my 35s from 12 to 35psi in minutes......precious time when your worn from a long day of wheeling. Once I take the time to have my custom mount guy (Leroy aka Bandiworld) to make me a spare battery tray mount for this new rig, I'll be installing one here as well. https://www.amazon.com/ARB-CKMTA12-Board-Performance-Compressor/dp/B0050DI9YQ https://www.instagram.com/bandiworld/?hl=en
  12. 6" BDS lift with Fox DSC coilovers and 2.0 Rear shocks, BDS add-a-leaf. 35x12.5 Toyo MT rubber on factory 20x10 snowflakes. 1.5" Bora spacers in rear to even out with the front stance. No rubbing whatsoever and rides better than stock even before the Fox DSC Low Speed / High Speed adjustments are made!
