I had the bulletin done and it help quite a bit.... its not as bad as it was. Before my hand would shake along with the truck but now since it got better with the shimming i don't think about it. If that makes sense. It took them about an 2 and half to do i believe

Correction whistle still there after tsb.... bs

Just got my truck back and the whistle has stopped now.... they performed the TSB PIT5229... im not sure if its the same as PIT5229A. The one you posted says to disregard bulletin PIT5229 but that's the one the service guy told me they did.

Well i just have a whitle sound coming from my air vents when my truck is recirculating mode so im trying to see if anyone has or had this issue before?

Did any of you get this corrected or any updates? Do any of you know if the recirc door is actually closed 100% or 90%? Does anybody know how to get to the recirculating door? And if the door was only 90% close, has any of you gotten the dealer to close it a 100%?

I found the thread you are talking about and im going back to my dealership and see if they can close it all the way instead of 90%. Hopefully that will fix it.

Took it to the dealer and tech said they couldnt replicate the sound. Took the tech for a test drive i heard the whistle along with another guy that works at the dealer he heard it too but the tech said he couldnt. He said he can take the dash apart and look in there and see if anything is wrong but he recommended not too. They said they will call GM and see if they have any issues with that or what they recommend to do.

I messed with all the buttons and I narrow it down to when the air is recirculating. Im wondering if the gates are not closing all the way? It only does it when im going at 50+ mph if i go below speed i wont hear the whistle noise. My silverado is 2014.

Hey guys! Im having issues with my AC... when im driving 50+ mph and have the AC recirculating button on... i here a whistle sound and when i turn off the recirculating button off the sound goes away. Does anyone know what it might be? Or have any of you had that issue before?. It's CC 2WD LTZ silverado if that helps.

I have an LTZ and it came with the black honeycomb grill.... i bought the snap on chrome honeycomb grill a week after i got my truck and it looks the same as a OEM. I bought the grill from ebay.

Im in houston and its going to be like summer soon, so they should settle in the next few weeks.... install was fairly easy took maybe 30 minutes and another 30 minutes to align it somewhat perfect but overall easy install.

Decided to go with the Bakflip VP will install later today once i get home.

Does anyone have the Bakflip VP on their truck? If so any pros/cons on this cover. Im looking to buy one but can't quite make up my mind. It is between the Bakflip VP, Bakflip G2, Undercover Flex or the Bakflip Roll X? Any input on any of them. Thanks.
