  1. I just did mine a couple of weeks ago (finished the front only) and before the alignment, the steering felt really tight / binding. Got the alignment done and looks like I had a good amount of toe in before the adjustment. Sway bar links torqued evenly?..17 ft/lbs I believe.
  2. I am going to do the 2.5" RC lift soon (1.25 RC body lift later this year). I would rather have the dealership I bought the truck from do my alignment. Is about 20 miles too far or not an issue. Thanks
  3. I have the G4 elite and I can fold up the panels on mine easily. I found a technique of flipping the first panel onto the second and then lift those two panels up which lifts the third panel up at an angle. When the third panel is at about a 30 to 45 degree angle, I move the 1st and 2nd panels parallel to the ground while moving towards the cab. The whole stack pivots around the 3rd panel and then set down on the 4th panel.
  4. I am been putting off my install of the power amp step until the new module came out. The new module is PN 76400-01A, looks to be about $150. Three hours of install time or I buy three bottles of scotch....tough choices here.
  5. I really like the Fold A Cover. What sold me was you can access the front section or rear section of the bed by just flipping a single panel, no need to flip all the panels back to get to the front of the bed. They also are lockable and you don't need to lift the rear panel to open / close the tailgate. Installation was pretty straight forward. The only drawback was it is winter here, so the rubber weather stripping was holding up the end panels slightly. They have started to settled down some.
  6. I have been so used to older cars showing around 14 volts that I got spooked when it warmed up and showed around 13 volts on the way home last week. Nice to know.
  7. The one on Craigslist is a fold-a-cover G4 Elite Cover & Caddy Bundle | 07-13 GM Silverado/Sierra 5ft 8in bed (GM4924+PC0). For $250, I might try to see if I can make it work if the stack pockets are similar. I did notice the 14 has the bed caps all around versus the earlier one that just had the tailgate.
  8. The one I am looking on Craigslist is a 'Fold a Cover' G4 Elite Cover & Caddy Bundle | 07-13 GM Silverado/Sierra 5ft 8in bed (GM4924+PC0). For $250, I think I might be able to make it work if the stake pockets are similar.
  9. What are the difference between the two years? Bed stack pockets, stake pockets spacing, width, lengths, etc.. I found locally on Craigslist a topper and tonneau cover that I am interested in but not sure if they would work. The tonneua cover is from a 2009 short bed and the topper from a 2010 Short bed crew cab. I looked up the tonneua cover manufactured and they list a separate version for 2014 using newer mounting hardware on the interior of the bed versus the stake pockets. Thanks,
  10. -4 this morning and used the remote start. New starter worked right away.
  11. Same thing here. August build date (8/13). Picked up truck Monday night. Tuesday morning (-12 degrees outside) nothing but a click from the starter. It took about 10 times with the key (battery was strong). Called and made an appointment for Wednesday for service. Parked in the sun at work (about 16 out in the afternoon) - remote start got about 1-2 turns then stopped. Turned over on the first try with the key. Wednesday morning, about 5-10 degrees outside, it took about 15 attempts with the key from the inside before it started. They swapped out the starter with an updated one per my request. (pn 12655055 B-(S) starter). Started great this morning and this afternoon using the remote started.
