  1. Any way you can get your truck to a different dealership....that's just bad service where you're taking it! I'd be driving a different truck by now if I had any trouble! For the price we pay for these I'm not taking any crap from a dealer....fix it or I'm trading it! Elsewhere!!
  2. 6 months after they finally had a software update and it's been 4 years now and brutally cold here in Labrador....no issues since! The only trouble I've had in the 5 years of owning this truck was that 4 × 4 issue and I had to have my oil pump changed! Started hearing a sound like an old power steering pump with low oil....had it checked and good thing I did! Caught the oil pump before it failed! Other than that absolutely no issues!!!
  3. Nope....no seat movement, no sticking flapper in exhaust! Fingers crossed that the 4 x 4 sticking is all for a while anyway!
  4. Finally after 4 months the part is replaced. ..reprogramming done....now to wait till next December to see if it is actually fixed! ? Other than that issue it's been an awesome truck with no other problems!
  5. Still haven't got mine fixed! Had to wait for the part then wait for an appointment! Just like I said...it'll be next December before I know if it's fixed for sure! Oh well! Sounds like it will be!
  6. GM Canada called yesterday and told me that they are happy to tell me that they have a fix for this issue! Truck goes in this week for the update! I'll be the judge of this "Fix"...I'll let you know how it goes!
  7. It's not in the manual....it's a problem we're having with our trucks. I had my truck over at the dealers and they reprogrammed my tccm and told me while they are waiting for GM to come up with a fix for locking in 4wd that I had to put it in 2 wd and shut it off or the problem will come back....apparently the freezing temperatures are causing the problem!
  8. Had my truck reprogrammed today and dealer said that they have been using PIP5220B and the trucks are still coming back with the same issues and codes! So much for a fix!
  9. Mine goes in tomorrow to reprogram but dealer hasn't heard of a fix! I mentioned PIP5220B but they haven't gotten any fix for cold temperatures causing 4 x 4 trouble except the same one which has to have the truck put back in 2 wd before shutdown!!!! Almost 3 months now!
  10. Come on Silver Sled....think...that code number that it won't fix??? Is it C0398??? I hope not! That's the code mine is getting!
  11. I just checked with GM Canada and they don't know about this fix? That's the number you got or is it PIP 5220B? Where did the info come from? A dealer?? Hopefully we'll get it soon!
  12. Was at the dealer yesterday and they said all the 2014s are doing this but have yet to have a 2015 come in with the problem! But reading on here and I find the 2015s are at it too....hmmm! The new Fords are out! Wonder what my 9 month old truck is worth on a trade in? No seriously. ...I just want my truck fixed! !!
  13. This problem is totally pissing me off....2 months now and still no fix! I only have 6000 km on mine and stuck in 4 wd....Thank God its not stuck in 4 low or 2 wd!!! I called GM and requested my money back but the wouldn't give! Seriously. ...if it was stuck in reverse would they still expect you to use it! This truck is broke! FIX IT!!!
  14. Another couple months and we won't need a fix till next December! I'll never remember to put that back in 2 wheel drive after every trip! But I still loves my truck!
  15. My 2014 is stuck in 4 hi and has been reprogrammed to no avail. It has a code C0398 and GM is saying the cold is the issue! Seriously???? Now I drive around in 4 wheel drive all the time destroying my front end on dry pavement and getting horrible gas mileage! But hey...a fix may come some day when the weather warms up! I guess I bought a summer model!
