Has anyone with lifted truck using a strut block extension replaced the factory struts with bilstein 5100. If so did it improve the ride ? Or is it best off to spend the extra cash on full coilOver replacement to remove the strut spacer?
Thanks
Has anyone had any issues with they're uca's hitting they're bumpstops at droop? On my 7 inch rough country lift when I hit a bump or drop off when the wheels extend down the uca seems to come in contact with the uca which feels very rough. Here is 2 pictures as you can see the uca's have the paint wore off the bumpstops from continuously hitting. And while the front is lifted the uca's just rest on the stops
Anyone have any tips or solutions
2014 Silverado 1500 with 7 inch rough country lift. 20x12 -44 fuel hostage with toyo mt 35x12.5r20. Ignore the dirt and salt, haven't had a chance to wash it.
Does anyone have any example pictures on how they trimmed their wheel wells on the cab? Only examples I can find are on older truck that don't have the extra plastic piece. Thanks
Currently have 7 inch Rough country lift on my 2014 Silverado. Local guy has a set of used fabtech coilovers 7-9 inch which were for 07-13 with very little use.. Would this setup work on my 2014 and would it improve ride over the strut spacers ? Or would it just be a waste of 500$?
