  1. It takes on some of them a few thousand miles before it starts, but can happen in as little as 200
  2. I spent an hour or so at the dealership today with a service manager, two field techs and a customer service rep. Long story short they bolted it open until they get a resolution on the problem. They thought they had it, then not. They agreed to replace the exhaust once the issue was resolved regardless of where the mileage is at on the truck for warranty. The issue now is there is a drone noise if your putting around in 4. Much better than a squeaky tow. They acknowledged that I am not the only one, there are several out there.
  3. So my second GM 2014 Sierra has the same issue as the first one. The exhaust baffle gets stuck and then the pressure forces the valve open and causes a dry socket squeak. Some noted interior noise, I initially thought the same thing till I realized (and the dealer) it only happened when going from V4 to V8. So my last truck had 5 exhaust systems (2 damaged upon shipment), this new truck now has had the exhaust replaced and is now doing it again. Took it back to the dealer and going for a ride tomorrow with a few GM reps. Last week after it was repaired a GM rep went with me also. So I ask myself, that is 6 exhaust systems, two different trucks. How the heck is this just me? Or do most not notice, listen to loud radios or is it really just me. Please reply if you truck underneath squeaks going from V4 to V8. I have also noticed very poor migration from 4 to 8 if you don't correct the issue. Thoughts???
  4. I am on my second Sierra and I wouldn't have it any other way. Truck is smooth, get 21 mpg on highway set to 73 using cruise. I can't complain and glad I pushed through with this truck and dealer. I would have been frustrated to drive a ford. I like Toyotas however the mpg is stupid low. Fords to me are just cheap inside, I feel the ride to high and the arm rests are in bad spots. The GM models are driver trucks. I do wish I would have went with the 6.2 however my driving style and wallet I am sure appreciate the 5.3. Besides I have a ducati motorcycle if I feel I need some speed. -------- 2014 Sierra Denali (new) 2014 Sierra All Terrain, SLT (old) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  5. I think the iridium with cocoa interior is a great combo. I have had all black interiors before and this cocoa/dune is really nice. Secondly the truck was sitting in the sun all day, the seats and interior were much cooler than my all terrain black would have been. I don't mind the chrome denali wheels, but really did like the look of my all terrain.
  6. That's 18 percent of people on forum not any where near a true number of owners. Regardless no point going back and forth. I hope you all get your trucks fixed as they should
  7. Nothing scientific, just that most that post on here are the same people. In addition I have not found a lot of others on forums with same topics. I have test driven several and this forum was found due to another issue however it helped me do extra tests on my replacement in case I could advert these issues. But honesty I have not driven one yet that vibrated. Hence why before I was curious of a you tube video to see the effect.
  8. I have had two, neither with vibration issues. Long story short, I love the truck regardless of the first ones issues. It happens, and this forum is where we all talk about it. I would say less than 1% off all the trucks have the issues. That is still a high number though... -------- 2014 Sierra Denali (new) 2014 Sierra All Terrain, SLT (old) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  9. The Denali replaced the All Terrain due to issues. My problem was how long and repetitive issues. It did not vibrate but did have the exhaust issues in addition to others. Secondly the new Denali I am leaving the stock tires on for now and the truck is actually smoother than the old one. Only put on new tires on the old one for the all terrain look and towing. So far I like the replacement better. The iridium is killer! Only thing is the new collision detection seems worthless, however like the lane departure.
  10. Also, you trade assistance cash should be a reflection to the trade offer and purchase price of identical replacement . Remember GM has limited control over a dealership so if they offer low trade, you need to increase the buy back. But be fair about it and all should work out
  11. I will write a reply after my deal is over soon. Let's say 5k is a low offer, depending on state laws. A buy back is a lemon law claim, trade in assistance if the vehicle issues meet the requirements should be handled in the same way. Honestly trade in assistance cash should be on par or night than a full but back as the dealer and GM profit from the second sale whereas a buy back they do not. Certain states also require even during a lemon claim that you pay mileage and it's published. Your guys can PM me for details on how I did mine, but before you start the process first make sure your vehicle has hit the lemon statue, otherwise your buy back offer could be lower and you not have a lot to work with.

  13. I second the dyna pro ATM, made my all terrain look sweet and rides nice. Low noise In case you want a visual, http://youtu.be/hO8u8barcFQ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  14. You guys should do a you tube review and post a link. I would love to see this in action, as I am curious to the depth of the vibrations. I have driven three and none had the vibration issues. My soon to be replaced all terrain has 20k on it and the issues were other than vibrations. Kinda worried and hope the denali does not develop issues. I have already test driven it twice, smooth as butter. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. GM in general needs their head examined. I have 19k miles. Mine are not spots, they are sections. It's pretty bad to say the least for a 9 month old truck. Probably the worst on this forum due to an early owner and in a winter / salt area. I wish I would have kept my avalanche... Just frustrating dealing with piss poor products at the price these things go for. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
