Had her about a week and loving this thing. Hating the price tag, but it is awesome. Averaging 24 mpg over 640 miles... about 70% city. Drive a gas one for two days and only got 15.8 mpg.

5.3L.... Sorry I might want to clear that up. Thanks Silver Ice. The intake sounds absolutely amazing under throttle and almost stock at cruise, great sound.

****PRICE DROP**** Just sold the Silverado and have a in great condition AFE Stage 2 intake and Range Technology unit for sale. Both items will be shipped in the original boxes and work great. Both items were from my 14' 5.3L ? Both items are located near Raleigh, NC. The intake was over $400.00 new. Asking for 310.00 Shipped. Only issue I had to slightly cut the end of the air hoses to make them fit. Absolutely sounds great under load. Asking 115.00 shipped for the range unit. Several of us who have data logged these motors agree that 89 (personally 91+) octane should be used. The truck pulls a pretty good amount of timing on 87 octane..... On the switch to V4 there's a lot of KR (under low load not a huge issue).
