  1. In the above image- what light is left, center & right?
  2. tstehle: do you have a pic of them lit up from the rear?
  3. Where have you seen pictures of the Spyder taillights for the 2014 Sierra? Their website does not list them.
  4. EChavez- I hope those tails are brighter in real life. they looked pretty subdued in the pic. but look sweet on your truck
  5. Well- summer is almost over. What is the status on Recon?
  6. How do you average 25.5mpg? Do you drive like Miss Daisy? I drive what I consider normally and average around 18. Share your techniques with us.
  7. The ones on protuning show an LED replacement backup bulb if you scroll a little further down. It says "Cool white 5500K, fits in original socket." Anyone try these yet?
  8. Do the Denalis come with different tail lights than the SLEs? I saw a Denali this morning driving to work that I swear had LED taillights. I so wanted to chase him down to talk about them, but I was late to work.
  9. That is disappointing. Thought they would have higher output LED's there. Aren't there some LED replacement bulbs for the back up lights? Are they just plug-n-play?
  10. I am liking the smoke ones for my Stealth Grey SLE. I noticed on the back there were no wires coming out of where the back-up lights are. Do these have no back-up lights or do the original ones plug into the LED housing? Also- the 2 square things- are they the ballasts? Why aren't they attached? Do I have to mount them somewhere?
  11. OP wanted impressions from V-6 owners- Mine has 3937 miles. I bought the V-6 for economy- I tow/haul very seldom. It has plenty of power for me. The pedal feel is strange coming from an F-150. My only point of contention is the "sound". The motor sounds like a weedeater. I think GM should have put a bit more "growl" into it for a truck. I had a 4.3 V-6 in a boat and it had a great sound. That was sort of what I was basing my expectations off of when I started thinking V-6. (I know- boats don't have the same exhaust requirements trucks do, but ...)
  12. Thanks for the pics LTZTom. Now I REALLY can't wait til they get some for the Sierra.
  13. I had one in my '03 F-150 and I really liked it. It had an added feature called Travelnotes which is a voice memo recorder. I found one just like it on ebay for $15. I have spent over a month fabricating a panel, moving lights and switches and upholstering the thing. Then I had a heck of a time finding a good power source. I ended up running a wire from the fusebox ( thanks to MotoMedics RAP thread) when I installed my driverside front pillar grab handle (thanks again for THAT thread , guys) Finally got it all together today. (I don't wear sunglasses )
  14. Installed mine today. Looks professional grade Really was so easy no video is needed. My black plastic tether did not remain attached to the old trim piece. I just cut off enough to expose the hole that the prong fits into. Thanks for all the tips on this. So glad to have a handle again.
  15. Thanks for the tips, all. It has helped me complete my project. I installed a Homelink module. I'll search for a more appropriate thread to post results (or start a new one).
