  1. Oh I know, but doesn't matter since they won't even look at it.
  2. My boss was pretty mad when I got back 2 hours beyond my 1 hour lunch break. Not much I could do. I actually just got off the phone with another dealership. They again will NOT even look at the issue with my tires/rims not being stock. I don't have the stock ones anymore since I live in an apartment and have no room for them. I offered getting them balanced the day before bringing it in, still not good enough. So I guess that's it. First and Last Gm Truck. Will NOT recommend another. My problem isn't with the truck, it's with the "customer service" you get when investing into the company. The truck could be fixed, lousy reputation and no trust, not so much.
  3. Oh for sure, if you actually have an offer then that's fine. My theory is I spent 30g+ on this truck (I'm young and there's plenty of trucks left in my future), but with this first experience being as crappy as it is... I'll move to another company and buy the rest of the trucks I have left in me for the 60 or so years I'm on this planet with another company. I know GM is looking into the issue, but the dealerships around here are ridiculous in dismissing the issue entirely. So to be honest, there's no reason in supporting this company if they can't help me out. Even if they did figure out the problem, there's no reason why I should jump through hoops to even get it looked at. The last dealership I went to took 3 hours to do a 15 minute oil change for crying out loud.
  4. They come out of the same factory and share the majority of the same parts, there's absolutely no difference in the process I'm sure. As for upgrading to a 2015 model to get rid of this shake... right, this is my first and last GM truck.
  5. So I finally got around to bringing mine in to get it's first oil change at 5000km. I told them about the vibration and this is the 3rd dealer who either played dumb or literally have never heard of the issue yet. Anyways since I have aftermarket 18" rims with Grabber AT2 rubber, they said there wasn't much they could do unless I put the stock rims/tires back on. They said they checked the u-joint, etc...etc... but there would be nothing they could unless they get my stock tires back on. Only problem, I sold the tires 3 months ago. SO with that being said, sounds like they are basically pushing me off to the side because they are blaming my road force balanced tires and rims. The truck shook WITH the stock rims and tires before the swap out as well. This is also the dealership that took literally 2.5 hours to do an oil change when I had an appointment. Soooooo.... I'm getting tired of GM already.
  6. I'd put my money on the second option. The shake is not the end of the world for me, but it's hard to stand by a product that comes with a built in massage/coffee mixing feature not advertised that I didn't want lol. I'll mention it when I go in for my oil change along with why they didn't put the screws in my rear handle which pulled off when a passenger climbed in. Besides I don't do 70mph very often for obvious reasons It's more of a piss-off than anything. No one wants to have their friends in their new truck and have a shake like mine and then be told you should have bought a Ferd.
  7. Mine vibrates. Has been now since around the 1000km mark. I now have just over 3000km. It only vibrates when doing about 125-135km/h which is something like 75mph. I'm going to mention it when I go to the dealership for my first oil change, BUT I have recently installed aftermarket tires and rims and I'm sure they'll blame that for the vibration even though it vibrated with the stock tires. My truck shipped with 17" base steel painted rims with General Tire Grabber HTS rubber. I swapped them out for 18" Eagle 050 rims wrapped with 275/65 General Grabber AT2 rubber. After reading this forum, seems like there's nothing being done about it so I can say this will be the first and last GM truck I own simply due to the negligence GM has with safety and recall notices on their vehicles the past few years. I doubt they'll do anything about this issue until someone dies because of it. More about my truck: Base Model Sierra Built in May 2014. 2wd Double Cab 6'5" box with tow package option. Vibration started around 1000km. The center console (fold down seat) shakes like crazy. To the point where it would spill a 3/4 full coffee or pop can. Steering doesn't really shake, just the seats.
