  1. I didn't feel that way at all. It was welll worth saving $550 and not hard at all just takes patience so it looks nice and tight. If you buy the set with the video it walks you straight through it.. knowing when to put them inside out. the plastic over the headrest foam so you can shrink it with a vacuum.. I'll install it for $500 for anyone in the Tulsa area :-P
  2. I have vibration but its pretty intense at 70mph.. to the point of where stuff rattles in my cupholders.. i think my driveshaft isnt balanced or something odd... gonna take it to the dealer soon.
  3. I love helping people spend their money! :-) let me know if I can post better photos for you! haha! I feel your pain tho. I totally do.
  4. Shouldn't reduce the effective heat. Should in theory hold heat longer as well. I was going to add heat but decided against it last min to save the extra $
  5. The truck is an LT, that's the factory console lid. I kept the Katzkin cover for later incase I need it. Fingers definitely hurt. You will need a T25 and a T50 torx, and 18mm deep and a 14mm socket, small extension, phillips screw driver, flat head screwdriver, box knife and maybe a flat pry bar to help you get the back panel off of the front seats. (if I missed any tools sorry but that'll get ya darn close. Well worth the extra in my bank acct but definitely cuss worthy every now and again... and they wont stress it in the video... take it slow with the Velcro and the piping in the creases. you don't want to pull it from the foam when you're removing the factory seat covers! :-)
  6. Took me 8 hours.. an hour or so of that was watching the video to make sure i was doing it right. It was nice having the video that came with my kit... here's what it turned out like.. after it sat in the sun yesterday it tightened up nice and some of the wrinkles you see are now gone. LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! A+ product from Katzkin.. You will have sore fingers and you will cuss a few times. But you can do it! Just be patient when making the cuts it tells you to make! " I SAVED $700 by doing it myself on a saturday!! "
  7. To directly answer your question is Yes. If you have an 8" mylink without bose this is the correct system for you.

  9. Wow! So thats it and you dont have windnoise or vibration noise from the light?
  10. Let me know what you figure out with this. This is the setup I want but I dont want a howling light bar either.
  11. I paid 550 and i'll have 550 in it when im done. My autorized dealer is on ebay. They said they will deal with warranty issues as I will have had a professional installation (Dvd included) lol. They're good guys.
