  1. I have 2014 Sierra. At the bottom of the windshield there is a trim piece / moulding that meets the windshield glass. It is not seated properly and sealed and kind of wavy. I guess it's intended to seal to some degree and let water roll over. Is this cosmetic or is there an easy fix? Pic attached. I've tried to press it down but not much luck. Im hoping not to have to replace the whole piece which looks like it'd be quite involved and taking off wipers. Thanks
  2. Any further updates on this issue? My 2014 sierra slt 4 door short box has the same suspension noise as many have mentioned here. More specifically, mine makes pops, crunches, grinding when accelerating from take off. It's very noticeable when damp outside or raining. The noises come and go when dry but always there when moist. Mine sounds mostly from rear passenger side. I really can't believe that GM can't figure this out. It has to be a spring needing lube somewhere. I'm tempted to spray wd-40 in suspect areas but I hate to apply a bunch of lube that will attract dirt n dust and deteriorate the rubber bushings. Love my truck but a 45k vehicle shouldn't be making noises. Anybody figured anything out? If nothing else, if enough of us complain maybe GM will get on it. Thanks
  3. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT 4x4 with 1400 miles on it. I just bought in September 2014, and my truck is producing the same sounds as the original poster of this thread. Just started around 1400 miles and I have only noticed in morning after sitting all night or also when wet/raining. I hear the popping (kinda like knuckles popping) when taking off from a dead stop but once I get speed up, i can't hear anymore. Then it does it again a few more times when I stop and start and then it just goes away until the next cold morning or wet outside. Sounds like its coming from back passenger side. Anybody know if anything came from this issue? It seems like many users have experienced this issue and most replys say shocks or leaf springs. Any more updates? thanks.
  4. hello, i've got an issue with my brand new 2014 sierra that I can't figure out. Truck is 2014 Sierra SLT, my dream truck, and I don't have 1000 miles on her yet. I'm pretty particular and looked it up and down, left and right before I bought it. Two days ago I noticed a small, dime sized dent around the roof top brake light. Right along the curvature of the sheet metal, so a pretty hard spot. I looked all around the area at different angles and saw no others. Today, I see another about the same size about a foot from that dent just to the left of the back windshield in another hard spot of the sheet metal. I don;t have a garage but I don't park under trees either and there has been no hail damage in my area. There are not paint chips, just small dime sized dents, kinda creased dents. Again, both are on harder parts of the sheet metal where the is curvature, so it's harder, and I would imagine would take a good blow versus like the side of the door. Now, they are small, and the sun has to hit them right to see, but I see them and they upset me since its a $45k truck and I work hard to pay for it. So, either, 1. I'm blind and just did not see them when I bought truck which I don't believe since both me and my brother looked over the truck hard before I bought it 2. Or, I have some enemys I don't know about who are playing sick jokes and tapping dents in my truck with a hammer 3. Or, there is a possibility of some bad sheet metal that is buckling somehow which I've never heard of but I guess possible? Any ideas? Lastly, the dents are there, and the only thing I can do is repair. But has anybody ever had any luck with paintless dent removal or are there any other new technology options where I don't have to bondo and paint? Thanks so much for any advice!
