  1. 2014 Silverado CCSB with 5.3, all stock. 70K miles Several months ago I got a check engine light. Brought it to the dealer as it was due for an oil change, they said "misfire" but could find no obvious cause. Its continues to happen sometimes twice a week, sometimes not at all for a month. At my last oil change I had them change the plugs and wires, relatively inexpensive thing to try, still happens. Battery died a couple month ago, replaced it, still get the light occasionally. Within the last month developed a new symptom. When I shut it off, the engine will sometimes sputter a bit, even after the key is pulled out. Only for a second or two before dying. Is this all consistent with dirty intake valves on a direct injection engine?
  2. Well, the system performed normally the next day. Assuming it doesn't start happening again, I'll just wait until I go in for service, which should be in about a month. Perhaps there is a software update...
  3. Hey all, driving home tonight, and the display screen in my 2014 Silverado started acting up. See the video here: I had noticed about a week ago, when listening to the radio, and displaying the audio tab, the presets disappeared. I figured there was a setting or something that I inadvertently changed, and spent a little time trying to see if I could figure out how to get the back, but never could. I don't know if that issue is related to the screen blinking, but I figured I would mention it. As you can see from the video, everything seems to work, I turned off the radio when I took the picture, but it was working while blinking. The Nav and phone functions seem to work too. Anyone seen this?
