  1. I have experience with neither, but I have followed several discussions on here about it. A lot of people buy the same wax coating it has on it already and apply it once a year. I believe it is called Daubert Chemical NoxRust X121B
  2. Is their any visible rust yet? If not, check it in a few months again and see. I have a 2015 Sierra and so far it has held up really well. I had a 2014 Silverado prior and it had rust when I purchased it. So it isn't consistent across every truck.
  3. Do it for the piece of mind alone. I've been hit there too, and only had minor scrapes on the plastic and under the bumper. I didn't care much, still have the truck. The other driver was stressed out so I took some good karma and let him on his way. I drive off-road occasionally and parents live on gravel, so it's going to get scrapes thus why I didn't care. But for your sake, let them look it over. Seems that way you will feel better about it. It's your truck, do what makes you sleep better at night.
  4. Agreed, looks like an equinox. They should have changed it up more and went with the square look, more so of how the silverado is versus the equinox. Also, it's a Blazer, give it the 5.3 option. Not going to be much competition for the Bronco with this as the other option.
  5. Did you clean the sensor before re-installing it?
  6. Sometimes it is a battery/wiring issue. You might check those first to ensure good connections. As far as towing vs driving, that's your call and your money (potentially). I would like to say that this should be covered under the powertrain, but we know how stealerships work. Good luck.
  7. Has anyone tried OPT7 HID kits? Specifically the BOLT AC Slim series.
  8. I don't think so as long as you monitor the RPMs. If it is on side streets and the not the highway, you should be fine.
  9. Looks really nice! I wish CO wasn't so expensive to live there, I always liked the state and the environment. Work would require me to live close to the city, and potentially to an airport, so living far out is not possible.
  10. I think you guys missed the sarcasm. It seems like he was just stating what others have argued and beat to death, but have no proof of. Or I just missed the seriousness... #AnotherDayAnotherBeer
  11. For being only 25 miles, that is possible. 50 miles at that, possible but more unlikely.
