  1. It looks like from what I've seen is the custom's only come with the 6-speed? I'be posted on a f-150 forum as well lol.
  2. So in the market for a new truck since mine was tottalled. Wanting to build a sport truck...narrowed it down to two options. Used 2018 F-150 Crew Cab STX 4x4 5.0 with 3.31 gears and 10-speed locking rear . It has exhaust on it already, but it has a leveling kit with 35" bfg with raptor wheels. I figure I can pull them off sell them for some $$$ to lower the truck. I can get this truck for $33k New 2019 Silverado Custom extended cab. 5.3L with 6-speed. 2wd 3.42 gears and heavy duty locking rear diff . Has the factory 22's and I kinda like the new body style. Not gonna be racing anyone really, Living in Florida really don't need 4wd...what woud you go with.
  3. The truck made 308rwhp on a mustang dyno. It was 98 degrees inside the shop and also very humid. The air intake twmp went over 220 degrees. Prolly out down close to 315 or 320 on a good weather day
  4. I came from a ram. The 5.7 hemi/8-speed 3.92 gear combo sure made it feel quick and powwerfull. The interior got me. Beaides the u connect everything felt cheap. Also if you are a mod guy you can not tunr a 2015 and up ram. You have to buy a whole seperste pcm which makes just tuning the truck expensive and a pain. My 16 bolt on tuned 5.3 will walk away from a hemi. The ecotec engine just comes alive after a few bolt ons and a tune. Im a mod guy though and eventually wanna go boosted...so I came back to ch3vy where the aftermarket for every aspect of the truck was bigger. Also resale value.
  5. I have a 2016 crew cab 4x4. 3.42 gears, headers, intake and custom tune. Also have heavy factory 22" wheels. I drive 34 miles one way to work on the highway. Truck averages right at 20mpg. Runnimg a consistant 75+ MPH
  6. So here is a video of my truck with the texas speed headers and a black widow muffler. With the resanator still in. Im trying to find someone to build a system ive designed but no luck yet.
  7. Same thing with mine. Sometimes it will go off going down the road. My phone will Disconnect and I can't change the radio station even thought the radio is playing. It's crazy. Was told there is no current fix.
  8. So I had a 2.5" Rc lift. Removed the rear block completely and the bottom 2" spacer on the front. Truck sits almost perfect level. Rear below factory front about .5" taller than factory. Perfect for my 22"
  9. Hey guys. For those of you who have removed your rear block. Did the truck still have a rake? Ive seen anywhere from 1" to 2". I have a rc 2.5" lift on my truck. Is uses a larger rear block, a lower 2" strut spacer and a .5" top strut spacer. My idea is to use the front .5" spacer and no rear block and hoping it come out level. Should have a sporty stance to it.
  10. Ill have ro measure it when i pull it in my shop tomorrow. Im actually considerinf oull the levling kit off. I installed the kit myself. Its not hard of you habe a afternoon and the tools to do it.
  11. I would like to find a little more aggresive tire. Maybe something a little wider. Hopefully by the time these wear out someone will come out with more all terrain options.
  12. Trade my 18" fuels amd 10 ply toyo tires for a set off factory 22 pull offs. Got my mileage back to 20mpg. Now whether to take the 2.5 lift off or not
  13. Rc 2.5" on factory 22s with the factory bridgestone all terrains. <a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/user/Imperfection2021/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20161212_090556_zpsjko9z3jn.jpg.html"target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/Imperfection2021/Mobile%20Uploads/20161212_090556_zpsjko9z3jn.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20161212_090556_zpsjko9z3jn.jpg"></a> Rc 2.5" on factory 22s with the factory bridgestone all terrains. <a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/user/Imperfection2021/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20161212_090556_zpsjko9z3jn.jpg.html"target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/Imperfection2021/Mobile%20Uploads/20161212_090556_zpsjko9z3jn.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20161212_090556_zpsjko9z3jn.jpg"></a>
  14. Traded my 18" fuel wheels and toyo tires for a set of oem sew 22" wheels and factory bridgestines. Now thinking about taking the 2.5 level back off.
