  1. Yes, it is a Texas Edition Silverado. It came with the "Silverado" de-badged from the factory.
  2. I could feel it on my'14 V8, but not at all on my '14 V6. I use cruise control religiously! Every time I hit 25 mph I hit the cruise and pretty much just accelerate with my thumb. I get way better mpg and mine stays in V4 mode more. I just got the truck because it looks sooo cool. If I could get a "range" or AFM device that would keep it in V4 mode, I would install it. I want the awesome looks of this truck, with the fuel economy of a Prius.
  3. '96 Blazer and '14 Silverado have different hardware and software. The best method is to do it yourself at the pump. Fill it up, reset the trip, drive to "E", fill up again and divide the miles by the gallons it takes to fill up. That's your MPG.
  4. This discussion has me paranoid!!! Every little imperfection in the road has me thinking I picked the wrong truck. I had to take my '14 Durango to work just to see if it is the newly paved hwy that sucks or my truck. Fortunately it's just the road. My truck is smooth and silent (except for on the new multi million dollar hwy). I hope they get this worked out for everyone, so they can finally put out Amother recall or TSB. On a side note GM is sucking, because they're not going to fix my led ring on the HVAC knob or my tailgating cable... Still waiting for them to tell me they're not going to replace my bent/missing chrome bumper!
  5. Ok. I was just gonna wait for it to blow up, then take it in for a warranty claim.
  6. My 5.3L V8 didn't really move. My 4.3L V6 moves like crazy when I really get on it.
  7. I haven't heard it. 11000 total miles between two '14 Silverado's. If you search the exhaust section of the forums, you can see that a bolt can be put in the valve to hold it open. Then it should make the noise.
  8. I like that there aren't too many post on here! It makes us more exclusive!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I was regretting it until I filled up with top tier 91octane and am averaging 20 around town and 25+ on the hwy.... And.... Apparently because of my gears, I can tow more weight than my '14 5.3L with the 3.08 gears! (So I've read on these forums) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah, I like it! I traded my '14 5.3L for my '14 4.3L. I was reading one of the forum topics and apparently my V6 can tow more weight than some V8's because of my gears. I don't really know for sure though (or care, really) I just got it because it looks sooooo sweat! I just wish it sounded more like my '04 V6 Silverado. That truck sounded great! This new one is just whisper quiet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
