almost beyond 36k miles and haven't taken the truck in yet for my own noise issue. i'm 99.9% sure it's the same thing everyone else has had; driver's side stub shaft is loose compared to the passenger side, when in 2wd and ambient temperature is warmer than 65 degrees or so, it'll squeak, and when it's in auto or 4wd, it goes away and is silent. anything i need to know to tell the dealer? specific bulletin or replacement part?

Post your T1 wheel/tire setup

I have a '20 rst z71 Silverado with the 20 inch stock wheels and goodyear tires. After having trouble the last couple weeks in the rain--28k miles and normal tire wear for the mileage, they don't seem to stick in hardly any rain situation now. When I initially bought the truck 2 years ago, I was going to get black wheels later on.. I just never got around to that. Since I'm DONE with these tires(plus I've got nail holes in 2 of them that don't seem to leak), I thought I might as well look for wheels too. I'm looking for a black wheel the same size as the stock 20s that came on it.. I don't want to have to get everything recalibrated to a new wheel or tire size. I like the way the trail boss wheels are, but they're 18s. I'm not doing a lift or level or anything, just want black wheels that wont' have to have any spacers or anything. Hopefully something that isn't weak or too heavy. I've never got after market wheels before and don't exactly know where to start looking, and how about to get the tire pressure monitoring sensors put in the new wheels(would i have to buy those separate or would they move my old ones to the new wheels.) -
i figured when i traded my '14 silverado that the LEDs would be night/day difference, but other than the 'color', that's all i've seen. I do half of my driving at night, so i need to have more vision down the road for suicidal deer. I'm afraid the only way to upgrade them is to get entire headlight replacements.. housing and all. I also don't like how focused the beam is. I don't want to blind oncoming drivers, but if something like a deer is 5 ft to the side of the truck, about 50 ft away, I can't really see it.

i definitely have this too. 2020 z71 crew with 11k miles. it's definitely occasional, as it takes a while for it to make the noise and seemingly doesn't make the noise other times. now i know where to pinpoint the issue when i take it in. definitely goes away when i put it into 4x4. no idea what it's called, but the metal part out from the transfer case that connects to a rubber boot is 'loose' on the drivers side, and tight on the passenger side.

I have a 2020 Silverado RST z71 and am having a different noise pop up. It happens after I've been driving for a little while, 15 minutes or so, and it sounds like a higher pitched metal on metal grinding noise. No noise at all when I start driving, but it seems like once heat builds up, it starts to grind. I don't think it's a bearing, I've heard that noise before and it's not really the same. It doesn't vibrate the steering wheel or brake/gas pedals, I'm pretty sure it's on the front end and not the rear wheels, and it definitely 'grinds' every time the wheels make a rotation, and it seems to go away when I make turns. I don't have 10k miles on the truck yet, got it in July. Had the tires rotated/oil changed in early March.

What did you pay for your truck?

i got mine at invoice plus the rebate 2 weeks ago, northsky blue rst crew cab with z71 & protection, convenience 1 and 2, 20 inch wheels, and 4 inch black running boards. msrp 54450, invoice 46081, dealer had to trade for it or i probably could've got a tiny bit more. -
looking for black letters on my northsky blue rst, i just need to see one already done to see if i like it, and not waste my money.

I know! especially considering my last truck was literally on the lot for a year before i got it.

Just bought my truck and now I'm looking for a new soft roll up cover. I had the Tonnopro lo-roll 1050 on my '14, I wouldn't mind getting another Tonnopro, the one similar to it is the 1095, I believe, but I'm open to other options.

Just bought my truck, it's a July/20 production date from Indiana with the E4 slider. Hopefully that helps in mine not leaking.

joe holland in wv, doing a dealer trade for it. I think I know where they're getting it from, and it's being delivered to the dealership this week and it's a 1gc vin(indiana plant i think). Only have to wait on it, then find some trailboss wheels and 18 inch tires. will probably sell my 20s.. i really like the black/blue look. -
