  1. Mine were peeling off. During a visit for an oil change brought it up to my service adviser she had them replaced under warrantee. All they did was pulled the old ones off cleaned the contact area very well and put new ones on they come with sticky tape on them new. Not an issue since they fixed it.
  2. He likes the passenger seat and watching were is going lol
  3. You can do what I did add a hellwig helper spring to the rear of your truck bolts right on top very easy to do. Now I don't have any squatting issues when I'm towing or have a 500 pound load in the bed. Also truck rides nice and smooth when empty. A add a leaf will make your truck ride rough in the rear I'm also leveled and am loving the helper spring
  4. Okay fast update. Installed the Hellwig Springs in about 30 minutes drove the truck to my warehouse to pick up my supplies truck rode perfect didn't even know I had helper Springs installed. Loaded my 500 pounds into the bed truck didn't squat or anything like it used to. Rode perfect down the road when loaded. When I installed the spring I put the preload to about an inch on each side because I didn't want a rough ride when empty. Max preload is 1/4 inch so I still have room to play if I need more. So far very happy. Pictures will follow once I'm home and on my computer.
  5. I usually haul about 500 pounds. I will measure before and after. They say it shouldn't lift the rear which is nice because I wasn't trying to do that just didn't like the squat when I was hauling and this should prevent that they say.
  6. For anyone looking to purchase the Hellwig Springs I got them off amazon for 119 and free shipping. That was the cheapest I could find them anywhere online for.
  7. I'll post pictures when I get them on its freezing rain today the bump on the new springs goes over the existing ubolts on the leaf Springs.
  8. Correct part number for 14-16 chevy is 987. Model 990 they bolt right on top of the existing leaf Springs no disassembly of anything on the truck required. Came with all the hardware needed looks to be a 10 minute job when I watched the video. There is a video on YouTube from u truck. Took them 5 minutes to install
  9. Well the Hellwig helper Springs just came hopefully it's warmer then single digits tomorrow so I can put them on
  10. I will let everyone know how it turns out. Been single digits lately so as soon as it warms up we will have install photos and a review.
  11. Well I decided against the add a leaf because I'm not trying to lift the rear just to help when I have a load in it to prevent the squat issue. So I ordered the Hellwig helper spring model 990. From everything I read it doest lift the rear or affect ride quality when empty. They say it is progressive in design so it should fit my needs. I will post pics and a review when the come in and have them installed hopefully next weekend if it warms up. If anyone is interested the hellwig part number is 987.
  12. The video said to replace the rear shocks can you use the stock height shocks if you want or do you have to buy different ones
  13. Running same for over a year now perfect for me
  14. So has anyone in the US try for this upgrade yet. Would like to know I would do it but my truck is in the shop getting a leveling kit installed.
