  1. Hi Todd! Did you ever get included on that conference call that? What was the outcome?
  2. I had read that as well, and was looking to do something like the attached link, but was wondering what it would look like in the standard reflector housing. Just curious at this point. Not sure I'm even going to do it. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-retrofit-kits/bi-xenon-fx-r-stage-iii-kit.html#.VEka1vnF8k0
  3. Has anyone managed to retrofit the standard 2014 headlights with an HID Conversion Kit? If so, do you happen to have any pictures on how they look?
  4. Hi Todd, Just wanted to check in and see if you had heard back from the chief engineer yet about if they've had any update on fixing the reception issue? I hope the supplier comes out with a fix relatively soon!!
  5. I would have the service tech ride in the car with you, and take him to the areas where you know the radio sounds like crap. He can't hide from that
  6. Has anyone else had a rattle develop behind or below their steering wheel? I have a rattle that occurs from time to time and its starting to get annoying. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if so, were you able to fix it?
  7. Thanks for the update, Short Circuit! I've just emailed my dealer to get this hardware update done on my truck, and 8/13 build date.
  8. dmd, let us know what you find out from the dealer. It's interesting that the creator of HD radio has come out and said they know the problem with the reception is in the antenna co-axle cable, but yet no one has had this replaced yet. It'd be interesting to know if an aftermarket cable would fix this problem
  9. And the only the vehicle in GM's lineup that they're trying to push it in is the Silverado's and Sierra's? Highly doubt it. If this was a problem across the board in new vehicle platforms, then you might have something
  10. if this is fixed for the 2015 systems, wouldn't swapping the 2014 system for the 2015 system fix the problem? I would assume for the most part, that either version should work in either truck, just some different hardware installed?
  11. tbarn, why so negative?! If the engineers aren't lying to TJay, I hope not, then there should be a new PI in the next couple weeks.
  12. Thanks for the follow up, TJay! Any chance you can let us all know what the new PI number is when its released? Maybe tbarn can also help with this? At this point, some fix is better than no fix at all.
  13. TJay, did you happen to get anywhere with iBiquity and replacing the coax cable? I was reading a thread about how one of the directors said the coax cable needed to be replaced because the ends weren't coated properly and allowing interference. Davis1 mentioned that you had been in contact with iBiquity. Was this fix ever attempted?
  14. tbarn, do you happen to know what the P/N is for replacing the radio module? This might help us with a '13 build go to dealers and let them know what needs to be fixed. Plus the update of course
  15. I'm still waiting for someone that has an 2014 build year truck to actually get the update and comment on it. Everyone commenting having 2013 build years and haven't had a module replacement. Until then, the update very well could work, but need those with the newer module to comment.
