  3. Im sure you could make it happen if you really want to. Light would shine through the slots in the grille for sure, but some of the LEDs might be covered up due to the curve of the grille. Its hard to explain, but i did it on my 2007 NNBS Sierra with a 20" Rigid double row light bar and i will attach some pictures. I measured the grille slots on my old truck just like you said you did and if i can remember correctly the slot was around 2 to 2.5", just a little bigger than the 2014 grilles, so I decided to put one it thinking it would fit, but the curve of the grille covers up some of the LEDs so i trimmed some of the black plastic off the grille to try and make the LEDs all shine through. I installed the Rough Country 2.5" level up front with 305/55R20 trail grapplers and 20x9 +14 offset fuel Mavericks I wanted to do a double row behind it but it wasn't going to fit the way I wanted it to fit through the slots so that's why I went with the single row I mounted a piece of angle iron to the two metal slanted bars behind the grille once you pull it off and I used some longer side mounts to push the bar close to the back of the grille. There is a thread on here somewhere with lots of ideas on how to do it. This is not my truck its a Silverado but it is basically the same way I did mine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yep Mikes got his facts straight. these are the light bars and they are from HarborLed. Ask for Cristian and he will hook you up, but shipping from China is not cheap at all, sometimes it's more than the actual light costs. I have been buying from him for a while and never had a problem.   9. Back to my question from a while ago. I have a 14 GMC all terrain SLE, but comes with the SLT head lights with the LED DRL lights. I installed 55W 5000k HIDs from the retrofit source in the headlights and every time they come on I hear a buzzing noise, but not the higher pitched zzzzzz sounding buzz you hear when the HIDs and ballasts are first firing up, but it a more deep buzz like a deep humming sound and it doesn't go away until I turn my lights off. When i look under the hood to listen for the sound, it seems like it is coming from one of the relays in the relay harness, but the lights work the way they should, except for the annoying humming noise. This has been going on for over a month now and i have tried but can't figure out how to fix it. I'm also getting terrible radio reception too. I know how to install HIDs and i have installed them on numerous vehicles and my past 2 person vehicles and haven't had a problem like this before, if anyone has any similar problems or has any help please let me know Here is my order from the retrofit source: HD Relay- 9012 Cap Link Morimoto AMP 5five DSP 9012 - 5K bulbs

  11. 25watt 5000k hid from HID guy in the fog lights Installed 5000k 55w HIDs from the retrofit source in the stock headlight projectors. It's better than the stock halogen bulbs but still not quite the amount of light that I want. Having a whole windshield tinted 30% doesn't help either. The hid kit and the wire harness from the retrofit source is very good quality compared to the Chinese kits from VVME.com I used in my 2007 NNBS Sierra. I didn't have to cut or tap into any wires and all the adaptors/connectors all connected perfectly. I have had them installed for 3 days now and overall I am happy with the kit. The only problem Im having is when the HIDs are on and I'm in the truck there is a lot of static noise coming from the speakers even when the volume is off. The FM radio also has problems picking up stations and staying connected to that station. When I take it out of park and into drive the static noise try's to go away but not all the way. Anyone else having these problems? Also I did a little extra and the diode mod to make the fog lights come on automatically and to make the cargo lights come on when put in reverse.   13. I'm guessing he's talking about my truck. I have the white Sierra with 305/55s with +14 offset on a 2.5" rough country level. I barely rub at all, it's only at full lock in reverse that it rubs slightly on the sway bar, and it only does it sometimes. It still rides good too, the only thing with the 305s is they are a bit noisy and they are a gas guzzler but Ive been used to it. For my next set of tires I'll stay with the 305s instead of jumping down to the 295s if that helps yall any Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. For everyone that has a level and bigger tires, what mpg are you getting on the highway? I assume most people on here are not too worried about their gas milage given that we are putting big off road tires on our trucks. I installed a 2.5'' level with 305/55R20 Nitto trail grapplers (33.39x12.60x20 from Nittos website) I also removed the bottom plastic air dam piece or whatever the correct term is, could that play a part in decreasing my fuel economy? Previously coming from driving a 2008 NNBS sierra with 6'' lift and 35'' tires and the small 4.8l engine with a Black Bear tune i was getting right at 15mpg cruising at 70 and that makes me think my new 2014 should be getting a little better mpg that what i am actually getting right now.
