  1. Sorry to hear that man, but you've got a bad ass truck! If money permitted i'd have done the exact same mods you've done! Looks great!
  2. What's up guys, I got a chance to get a screaming deal on wheels and tires but they're 5 lug for dodge so I'd be looking at getting adapters Do you guys think 33/12.5/20 will fit, WITH 2" wheel adapters? I'm leveled on a 2" RC level Thanks Jared
  3. Great build Mike, just finished going through the entire thread (started a few days ago). Got some good ideas from you, driver assist handle, some lighting upgrades, and I love what you did with the interior trim!! Might try something similar in the next few weeks. Good luck with your headlights! I want to color match and retrofit mine also but will probably have them done professionally. I have a habit of biting off way more than I can chew on DIY projects lol. You're much handier than me though and sounds like it's something you're up to!!
  4. Yes it is the denali style grille off of eBay for around $180, the quality was good and the fitment perfect however there's like this plastic/rubber piece that goes behind our OEM grilles that did not fit onto this new grille. When i realized it my buddy and I were already into our second 12 pack and said "screw it, doesn't look that important" lol. Anyways, idk what that piece is for but it won't fit with it.
  5. Wow! i never thought to look for this 'cause i figured if it existed it would come standard in every single truck!! Every time I get in my Sierra and yank on the steering wheel I've wondered why the driver side didn't come with one. Very happy to have found this thread
  6. I was charged $700 for entire front bumper including plastic pieces grille surround rear bumper + tailgate handle fender liners window moldings and grille center gloss black the job he did was GOOD, but when I first got it I kept seeing the new paint as being a tad darker, but everyone I ask says it looks spot on. i'm happy with the way it turned out. Now I'm dying to get my headlights done, they stick out so much now
  7. nice trucks in here guys. I'm really undecided as to what kind of wheel/tire combo I want to run. at first i was sure i wanted the off-road look complete with lift, mud tires and maybe even fender flares but now I'm leaning towards something more low-key, clean, and practical. I've got a bunch of other mods I want to do in the mean time though to keep me occupied and my checking account on low, so no worries how do you guys think our color would look with with a two tone black/deep red leather interior?
  8. thanks for the feedback! yeah the chrome was on my list to do something with ever since I bought the truck, never thought of bed liner but that would sure make for a tough bumper that you'll never have to worry about getting chipped! On to more iridium stuff, I really want to get around to getting my headlights both retro-fitted and color matched also on the inside. leaning towards black in the middle with iridium/tungsten on the top and bottom. Only thing holding me back is getting my old car up and running because the headlight process takes about 2 weeks. hate to be without my truck for that long.
  9. what's up fellas! didn't know this thread existed or i'd have posted a while back. Here's my 14 gmc iridium metallic double cab, it was in the shop getting the bumpers color matched and a few of the trim pieces painted. The color looks a little bit darker to me but a few people I've asked said they can't notice a difference. Curious to know what you guys think. one thing that the painter pointed out is that the piece directly above the bumper is a different shade than the entire rest of the car. I never noticed it before but looking at it now it's definitely off... which is only making the whole "is the new paint off or not" dilemma even more confusing thanks guys
  10. I have limo in the back of mine and I believe 15% in the front as well as the windshield, visibility was terrible when I first got it done at night, I even thought my lights were off, lol. I got used to it after about a week though and now it's not a big deal, but I do have to be extra vigilant. Aesthetically alone it's worth it, but you also get the benefits of reduced heat in the summer and then there's the extra privacy... I've gotten my money's worth many times over through the privacy factor alone?. Check out the last pic in my intro thread Disclaimer: I've been pulled over once already and I've only had it tinted about a month, got a fix it ticket but hoping to find someone who will sign off
  11. what up color matched bros, I'm finally getting my bumpers/tailgate handle/grille surround painted in the next week or so and I've been inspired by echavez to have my headlights worked on/upgraded via fastheadlights and I'm wondering what I should do as far as the paint on the inside. my sierra's an SLE so there are no led running lights, so the spot where they go is just chrome. I'm wondering if I should get them paint matched, black, or a combination, like this one: really curious what you guys think!
  12. truck's gorgeous man, i'm in love with those head lights. I just wish fastheadlights were a little faster since my truck's my DD. Saw your license plate's from Colusa, I'm down in Stockton. My buddy and I went up there for halloween like 6 years ago and he spent the night in the drunk tank out there, lol. if you get a chance i'd be grateful if you could send me a pm with the amount the headlight work costed you, I want the exact same thing minus the color changing halos. I do want halos but don't need them colored
  13. I've been through i don't know how many threads trying to find the part numbers for black window trim for the double cab. I've got the front ones as there's no difference between crew/double but if anyone could post up the part numbers for black, double cab, rear window trim L/R i would be extremely grateful Jared EDIT: I was able to find the part numbers after calling a few different eBay sellers for anyone wondering, these are the part numbers for black window trim for a DOUBLE CAB FL - 20964063 FR - 20964064 RL - 20963926 RR - 20963925
