  1. Western...you are right about plug and play. You have the existing wiring for power seats....so drop the new seats and go. The heating function will require some improvising. I too would try to use the oe switch panel. Keep us updated on how you got the heated seating resolved. Good luck
  2. A local guy has power leather seats working in a Reg cab WT...I do know he did wire off of the bcm for power function. His WT has retrofitted steering wheel with controls, leather power seats with console and signal mirrors. Not sure if his WT came with OE power window and locks..but he has them as well.
  3. unfortunately not...but it is about 3/4" off the ball joint bolt end. It is pretty much now flush with the ball joint nut.
  4. THis....had to cut end off to run 17" cookies.
  5. Shiro, Your list is spot on. You will need to remove two metal nut tabs (not sure what they are called) from your inner grille support and place them on a new spot on same support. The new 2016+ grille lower bolts to a different area. Just unclip and place in new spot. It already has a provision for them. Also...you will need the 2016 bumper brackets...hopefully you got them with the bumper. Fogs are plug and play. Headlights will require re-pinning the OE harness onto a 2016 connector (ebay).
  6. What is the current issue? Have you been using HID can bus/error eliminators?
  7. Sierra X, Since you have existing AT/SLT led lighting, you will not need a Gen5 harness. You will need new 2016 style connectors (see ebay link in thread) to fit the new 2016 headlights. After you buy the new style connectors, you can take apart your 2015 headlight connectors and repin (re-arrange) the wiring into the new connector like Zmnypit did in post #135 in this thread (see his picture). Reassemble and you should be done...Note, the issue with the DRL not cutting out when signaling is still being sorted out.
  8. You should be good with just new 2016 style connectors ( ebay link in prev posts ) and a repin of your existing headlight wiring....and a set of new headlights of course.
  9. Nixon, I am diggin your grille. Did you just have the face of the grille painted? I see some chrome in the inner area..or is it just the light reflection?
  10. I had this exact issue...I thought my filter was clogged...turned out to be a almost fully closed vent on pass side. Never crossed my mind until I went looking to change the vent filter....lol. Very noticeable whistle sound.
  11. Dbeto....Thanks for the schematic. looks pretty straight forward to me now.
  12. zm, Could this be made to work on an SLE model? Do the SLT harnesses have additional wiring for the LED DRL,s? Dbeto's silverado conversion basically went NON-LED headlights to 2016 LED DRL headlights with only repin correct?
