  1. Well i was one of the original people that started this for him I bought a 2015 Yukon with cabin pressure I got them to do a buyback. Then I ordered the 2015 midyear that supposedly fix the problem. I did not except the vehicle when I Came in it had the same problem. My wife would love to have a Yukon we just took out a 2018 yukon xl. And it has the same issue from all the way back into 2015. I give up I will wait until 2020 when we see the next model. Its unreal. It is so bad that I talk to salesman at the dealership and they are having trouble selling The yukons because of the issue. They 99 out of a 100 have the issue.
  2. Ccamp My experience with the test equipment that gm put in the vehicle to pick up vibration and pressure. Doesn't pick up anything. They took my first one i brought back and had the gm of the dealership drive it around for a week with a controller hooked up. I guess when the service department sent the program to GM it came back as normal. Just a heads up that might happen to you. What i don't get is why GM is still testing customers car the same way that they have tested others that hasn't worked. All they need to do is communicate with other dealers. Its too bad they are wasting good customers time. The point is GM best customers are buying these vehicles.
  3. Anon2015 you either work for GM or your crazy!!! I have ridden in probably 15 yukons. From july2014 until the latest last week and everyone does it. GM rep in this area explained to me that every yukon does it just some more then others. 2015 or 2015i. I am not going to buy a new yukon at this point i just bought a left over denali but i am really close with the big guys at the dealership and also have bought so many GM with my business i have the reps cell number and talk to him every couple weeks. So the only reason i even post on here at this point is to help other people out. So try not to give anyone false hope. Or we will keep reading about poeple like the last guy that just bought the escalade that has the pressure problem.
  4. Well i will tell u this i had one bought back by gm and ordered another one. The new one still did the buffeting noise so i didnt buy it. I am in really close contact with the dealership they do alot of business selling GM. From the dealership side of this problem all they can say at this point to people is " start the buy back process" they have been trying everything GM has told them and it hasn't worked. Also one of my friends are working on the buy back process because of this problem and it is a 2015i. I love the 2015 but there is no way i would buy anther yukon until i hear what the problem is and how they fixed it for real. I just feel bad for everyone that owns them and also the people that are buying them as we speak. Also by the way the second one i ordered that i didnt buy. Some poor guy bought it for his wife and it has been back at the dealership ever since getting destroyed by the service guys experimenting with it. Doing everything GM tells them to. This guy is also working on a buy back. I looked at this yukon and it is a mess. GM is falling apart apparently. I guess that is why its call government motors. It is following the governments foot steps. UNBELIEVABLE
  5. Well just to let everyone know i went out a bought a 2014 left over yukon. It is great!!! Just like my old one. I have come to a good conclusion for everyone that is crossing there fingers that the new 2015i isnt going to have the buffering problem. Think of it this way. If GM knew how to fix this problem in the 2015i then they wouldnt be spending all this money tearing everyones viecle apart for an experiment to see if it fixes it. The dealer dont know how to fix it. So until they know then dont order one because it will have the problem. Also for the people that dont hear it. It is there you are just for some reason not hearing it. I brought my inlaws in the viecle and they couldnt hear it. So i think some people just dont notice it. I have been in four yukons and all of them have the problem. So until u can go to the dealer and ask them how the problem was fixed and have a good answer then stop dreaming that GM has fixed it.

  7. I cant tell if it is a 2015i i called the dealer today to let them know i was bringing it back. I asked him to look and see if it was a i series and he had never heard of it. But was going to look into it. But the crazy part is when i picked this one up there were at least five Yukon's that just rolled off the truck. I wonder if at this point they have to disclose this issue to the customers. I guess from what he says is that gm has no clue whats going on he has two yukons torn apart in there right now and have done everything from tearing into the roof to the tires and suspension. He also said that one of the reps said it was in the v4 mode running at to low of an rpm and causing it to make the noise but at this point he didn't believe him.
  8. What i will say that made the noise worse, was when it was in v4. But what was weird about this one is when i drive down a dirt rd the quick rumble make the cab build pressure and it makes your ears want to pop constantly.
  9. I ordered the vehicle and received it. I told them i wanted to try it out before i signed the paper. So technically i don't own it.
  10. Where would it say that on the sticker. It only says 2015 yukon-4wd
  11. Well good luck with this issue. I am done dealing with it. I am not sure if read the earlier post i had but i bought and and sent it back because of the pressure problem. Then i ordered a new one that was assured to not have the problem. But wouldn't you know ten weeks later it is in and same problem. I have 6 gmc vehicles the oldest one is a 2012. Looks like some other company is going to get my 70k.
  12. I was able to bring it back i only had it for 48 hrs. There is a three day law. I heard it and found this site and didn't want to deal with it. And yes they told me gm knows about the problem and the new ones wont have this problem so i ordered a new one. We will see if it makes the noise i wont leave with it!!! I would like to know if anyone has success with fixing the problem.
