Screen too bright in reverse
DaBomb6988 replied to subieworx's topic in 2015-2019 Silverado & Sierra HD Troubleshooting
There is a service bulletin for it. The dealer can reprogram so it’s not as bright. I had mine done and is much better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Go to customoffsets.com. You can select the finishes you want. And they also have a large gallery of trucks with different offsets wheels and sizes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Gas vs. Diesel, please read 1st
DaBomb6988 replied to StevePT's topic in 2015-2019 Silverado HD & Sierra HD
You wouldn’t have any trouble with the 6l maintaining that speed or more at that weight. Also keep in mind. Max torque is made @4200rpm with a 6l. Which is turning pretty good but they are built for that. That’s the main difference between gas and diesel power output. Gas=High RPM. Diesel=Low RPM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Guess you can’t read. My statement was how are SFA’s superior if they can’t stop the death wobbles? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got to LOL at the solid front axle comment. Way to live in the 80's. Bet you have a bad ass mullet still just kidding. International (Navistar Defense) builds military vehicles with IFS and they have a max GVWR of 34 tons. Trophy trucks use IFS and they been winning the baja 1000 for years. I've driven SFA Fords, Rams & GM 250s-650s. I've NEVER had a death wobble in a IFS GM solid axle GM yes. We have 4500 Rams at work. Ones a 13 and the others an 18 and with a plow on they BOTH have death wobbled at least once a season. So exactly how are SFA's SUPERIOR if they still can't stop the death wobbles??? I mean in 50+ years of engineering they still cannot stop them.

Anyone else still have this issue after having the TSB #124h UI Bulletin Intermittent Cluster, Radio and HVAC Display Resets on Snow Plow Trucks installed? I had mine done in this spring 3/2018. Used the plow once after the update and everything was fine. Put plow away for the summer. We had snow yesterday, 11/2018, so I dug the plow out hooked it all up to use and had the issue come back again. Almost like I never had it done. I checked the fuse and connections and everything looked good to me. There was some water in the fuse cap but nothing was corroded. I cleaned and put dielectric grease to keep water out.
