  1. bringing this thing back from the dead.... did you ever end up doing anything with the doors? Im not sure i like the silverado on the fender like on my 24 RST. Was thinking of getting new ones and moving them to the door. I was leaning towards on top of that body line and further back.
  2. has anyone tried the curt harness? It worked on my ram. https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C56584.html?feed=npn&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAt5euBhB9EiwAdkXWOwnMYOOdjA_p76sDDNZlvm_UEdhNH2DfHGu6ujKWyBcvERw8KZWa3xoCznoQAvD_BwE
  3. Bit the bullet and bought a 2024 RST 6.2. Only downside is cloth interior but figure I can switch that out. Immediate needs are: illuminated bowtie tint bed cover reverse lights (maybe vleds license plate light?) any other immediate changes y’all recckmrnf would be appreciated.
  4. THIS is what i wanted hahahah. Im so close to coming back i can feel it.... headed back to dealer tomorrow to try and close this up.
  5. looking at buying now (for the truck).... leasing was great while it was but now its kind of bit us in the ass with the skyrocketing prices. Even more so with used car prices tanking which is hurting what equity at trade we might get.
  6. i need a reliable full sized truck or at least a full size SUV (tahoe/burb). Make multiple trips between my house and cabin towing quads and tons of gear. Also used car loans so much higher APR that it really narrows the gap.
  7. So here I sit. Almost 10 years to the day from purchasing my first silverado (2014 dbl cab LT). Did a ton of work colormatching the bumpers and grille, swapping to LTZ headlights, and doing an exhaust cutout. After having kids I needed a crew cab and jumped to Ram as the interiors on the GMs were horrible at the time. That too was a great truck that I had done some work lifting and squeezing 35s under. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) when gas was at its highest, and car loan rates were crazy high I decided to get out of a truck and into a grand cherokee 4xe. AWESOME suv by the way. Massaging seats, heads up display, passenger screen and everything. But it only took me about a week to realize i screwed up and needed a truck again. Fast forward a few months and here we are. My wifes traverse lease is just about up and we are looking to trade it in on a truck (shell take the jeep). With GM offering 2.9% x 72 months it seems like a great time to hop on it. Looking at an RST crew cab 4x4 with the 6.2l. Dealer not offering much of a discount ($2,000) but the equity on the lease certainly helps. Not that i need much convincing but talk me into pulling the trigger.
  8. Have a set (4) of GM bed tie down rings lying around. Brand new never used. 25$ shipped anywhere in the US. Paypal before lunch and ill ship overnight.
  9. As the title says. What’s your payment mileage and total out of pocket cost for RST and LT trail boss. Sticker price would help too. Selling my 14 and getting something new very soon.
  10. Ive seen some escalade owners upgrade to the camera mirror. Wonder if its possible in these trucks. It involved adding the camera and routing a wire to the mirror. didn't seem too bad.
  11. Yup. Guess it’s not the savior l, though it does look slightly better.
