  1. ive just put in the 2.5 coilovers on my 18 denali 1500. i wasn't impressed off the start until i took it down a highway that i couldnt go over 110 km/hr before now i can go 125 km/hr with no issue or back end jump. its very solid over bumps. speed bumps in mall parking lots are a dream. i did pick up the cognito UCA;s and have to install them. will update with ride after i do that. i have the coil overs set at 1.25 of thread showing as the recommended height. this is pretty well exactly level with the rear end. One thing that has now changed is my dash shows a suspension alarm. This was expected. Another thing is my truck now only goes 135 km/hr before the govenor kicks in. I'm wondering if this is directly related to the more level truck. if any denali owners have a level please let me know. if this is happening to anyone else with a 14-18 silverado or sierra let me know. Thanks you
  2. i recently put in levelling shocks in my 2018 6.2 denali and i cant get over 84mph. starting to wonder if there is a device the reads and reacts to how the truck sits, any input?
  3. Any one in canada wanna swap, I have a crew cab with all chrome trim wanting black
  4. Where are you guys running the wires back through the firewall? Is there a certain spot to run your switch through into the cab? thanks for the help
  5. Im looking at getting some rims. I have a 2.5 inch level on 285/60/20 rims and If im not mistaken the factory offset of the a/t wheels are +31. I am thinking either the +20 offset or +14 for the new rims. Anyone have either of these offsets and how far outside the fender does the tire stick out? Thanks
  6. Go to check out. That is for each one. price is 2099 for both. I bought my rear 5100 from this site
  7. The Tacoma 6112's are priced at 1100 bucks canadian per shock... If that is any representation of what the gm ones will be, I think ill opt out even know they will be a huge upgrade. Anyone have another other pricing they have seen?
  8. Thanks for the pictures, truck looks awesome. Ya not sure how those would look now. Look almost like a light grey and the iridium is defiantly darker. Cant go wrong with the black though!
  9. Has anyone seen the new fuel maverick anthracite wheels on any new gm's or chevy yet? If so where. Could be a game changer for the iridium metallic guys. Cant wait to see how they will look!
  10. Question answered. Thanks for the bad news, and good news. Good news being im not going to waste my money on the front bilstein and just keep my set up with ranchos in the front with 2.5 inch rough country and 5100 rear bilsteins. Bad news being bilstein cant make the ride better, using this set up. Still to be determined if the full extension 5100's will be a better ride.
  11. Thanks for the response - If you do experiement with the level in and no adjustments on the shock, let us know. I would like to see if it stiffer on not, not sure if it would. My front end does bounce quite a bit and knocks a bit on rough spots and it is definatly from the shocks with the added stress of a level but im sure bilsteins would help, just not sure how much.
  12. I am surprised this hasn't been brought up to much yet but with the new bilstein adjustable and rancho loaded front shocks out, has anyone been using these at there stock height setting WITH a level of any size? Is there any limitations on doing this? I have a 2.5 rough country level with 285/60/20 LT duratracs and the ride isn't great after putting these on. Could be the 10 ply tires too. But adding these upgraded shocks should defiantly help me out, theoretically.. if it isn't going to damage the shock or anything else some how. I haven't heard of anyone doing this but it makes sense to me. Any insight on this would be great. I will also be keeping an eye open on other threads and let you guys know. Thanks!
  13. Its defiantly possible to do it, just wondering why the dealer can't or wont do it to customer trucks but will do it to dealer trucks before they sell them(im assuming they wont sell trucks with an uncalibrated speedo). Did you talk to the dealer about using the Diablo intune at all?
  14. Putting on the rough country 2.5 and 285/60/20 duratracs. Whats everyone doing about the speedometer calibration. Talked to my dealer today and they said when they lift, or level trucks they don't recalibrate the speedo, but I call B.S. He also said if you calibrate it yourself with a programmer, it could void warranty because they don't know what was programmed, just know it was programmed. Anyone have any experience with this, thanks.
  15. Thanks, and yes I was referring to the Duratracs. Sounds good, picking them up on monday or tuesday and will post how they fit once they are on.
