  1. Thanks guys. Still no check engine light on the way home tonight so I think we're good.
  2. So, hopped in the truck again this afternoon and now the check engine light is no longer there. Sent from my abacus using precise finger movements......
  3. Well, if I cannot determine what the problem is, then I will do that. But, I was hoping maybe someone who has experience installing this kit in their silverado might have some pointers. Perhaps someone has experienced this exact same problem and knows what the issue is? I'm 100% certain the CEL is related to my installation of the HID kit. So something is disconnected, or there is some other issue. Unfortunately, I have to wait until Monday to get on the phone with The Retrofit Source technical support.
  4. Well thus far I haven't gotten any feedback on my above questions/comments, but I'll try again: After installing the morimoto mopar low beam kit, I now have a check engine light. Can anyone offer any pointers on what the problem could be? Sent from my abacus using precise finger movements......
  5. Hey guys on the single capacitor mopar low beam system for the silverado, is there an unused connector on the drivers side that doesn't plug in to anything?
  6. What locations is everyone using for the two ground points on the morimoto kit?
  7. I was on chat last night with Carlos from TRS, and he recommended the mopar low beam kit with the capacitor link, h11 relay harness, and the h11 bulbs (I have a silverado).
  8. Cool. So does DDMtuning make the 5k led high beams and 5k fogs?
  9. Hey guys, quick question. Not sure if this has been addressed or not. If I wanted to install 5000k HID's in my 14 Silverado LTZ, but I also wanted all of the other headlight bulbs to be in the same color range (high beams, and fog lights) what bulbs/brands would you recommend to best match everything up?
  10. I had this issue too when I first bought my truck. I picked up my silver ice metallic 14 LTZ Silverado in June. I immediately noticed an intense vibration above 75 mph. It was really bad and my first though was that it was something mechanical in the drive train. Turns out the vibration was caused by the wheels not being balanced correctly. Apparently the truck left the assembly line without them ever balancing the wheels. As soon as they balanced my wheels correctly, the vibration went away. Smooth as a cadillac now.
