  1. Haha we'll your entitled to your opinion everyone ethir loves or hates the xd series . Well I want to just do the 18s so I can put them on with stock tires for now after winter when I have more money il but nice tires . Not the end of the world for me but thanks .
  2. http://www.roughcountry.com/xd-series-xd881-xd81189067700.html Says 5. Also 18x9 I should be able just to throw the stock wranglers on it right ? That's plan for now as tires will be another 800 bucks probably main reason didn't do 20s but order hasn't processed so I can still change it
  3. i think il go with the 2.5 wondering what size tire i can go with on the 18s .... I'm debating if i should call and change to 20s... but then I'm adding more weight
  4. i ordered the 18s can someone direct me to the 2.5 ? and I've looked at the pics with the 2.5 is it still a noticeable lift? and ya like i said I'm not off roading it i realize that just need clearance for going to camp site and all . sadly 4x4 was 3-4 more double that lol
  5. ^ ok you didn't provide any helpful insight so stop being a tool. Anyways ordered 18x9 xd wheels will use stock tires for now after winter il get a nice set also calling shop tomorrow to see about a 3-3.5 in lift
  6. so that kit would be bad? Just new to this i want a truck thats noticably lifted but not over the top thats all and rough country has alot of diffrent set ups im open to advice. Thinking 18s now after reading alot on here so i dont add much more weight. Then some 285 open county tires?
  7. 10/4 ya halfway would be good my daily driver is 60 miles highway then weekends is when i load atvs up for fun. il look into the open country thanks guys i just have to love my truck for what she is and when im in it i dont ever care anymore its that comfortbale compared to the musatan
  8. ok since we are all playing nice how is this kit http://www.roughcountry.com/gm-combo-lift-kit-216.html then 20x9s now what kind of tire and il be set thank you and i truley wont be going off road i mean most ot the trails i take are just that trails to camp where people are in and out of all day i unload my atvs and tents and im set. So i mean 4x4 would have been great but at least i got the g80 lol
  9. when i bought my 14 1500 v6 2wd , 8 in screen crew cab, all star package with spray in liner and the paint protection ( regretting paint protection i think idk lol ) i paid 33 otd after tax... the same 4wd model was going to be 40 otd there is no way im going to spend almost a years salary lol im a poor college kid lol now im sad no 4x4 but i really dont think il miss it
  10. Anyways i was orginally lookimg at http://www.roughcountry.com/gm-suspension-lift-kit-271-84.html but seeing the body lift i like it and think it would raise me high enough to not worry about clearence issues. Im not going to go serious off roading i spent way to much to be doing that. I will be driving on the trails to get back to the campsites and unload the atvs thats about all. So maybe a body lift , 20s, and what kind of tire i do like the aggresive look but like what was mentioned i dont need overly aggresive. Just enough to say shes not stock
  11. Ya the lift will be couple months out then il do tire combo.. they were asking way to much for the 4x4 hell im lucky i could afford the one i have. the sticker on the next 4x4 stripped out was still 5-7 over priced
  12. no no desire to have a monster truck lol sorry if you thought that. i simply want a little higher so i dont look stock lol and fit some nicer tires and call it a day maybe a 2.5 with 33s and be done. only thing holding me back is the warrenty lol
  13. i think as long as i don't run massive 35s the engine for the most part will be unaffected. Really the lift won't have a affect on the engine except mpg but thats more aero drag then anything i think a 18in rim with 32-33 should be fine with out sacrificing performance
  14. ya I'm thinking a 3 in lift or a level kit just for clearance and a better stance. Then 20s with a nice terrain tire nothing that screams i want to run your car over punnie human just enough to get some height. as i still will drive my atvs up into the bed. ya i think my off roading will be limited to driving to camp sites and such il stick to that. tempted to try these wranglers in the snow they did get some good reviews i could save the cash and buy a wheel and tire combo after winter. Its a great truck the v6 can move out and i think its a 3.23 gears so not to bad
