  1. Did you happen to read any of this? Nobody has been able to verify this. But from the research ive done, it does appear the 16 has a different harness completely then a 15. So its not looking like a plug n play setup.
  2. I stopped at my buddys dealership last night to research this alittle more. As i was attempting to just to the OEM route. Not sure the swap would be that forward. Here are a couple diagrams of the console. As you can see in the Diagram, there is a wiring harness all ran threw there. However GM does not have the part # associated with it yet. Also, for anyone that is wanting to attempt the OEM console with the wireless charger the part # we found for the lid is 23450838.
  3. Can you post some pics of what you guys ordered
  4. yea, Im not trying to swap my front end. Another guy posted about it. I prefer my 15 to the 16 1500 front end is what i was saying.
  5. So you are trying to get rid of the ltz led lights? Dang. I woulda bought them lol
  6. i have the full console in my 2015. So im curious if i could just purchase the arm rest itself and swap it.
  7. That would be a expensive swap. probably 3K+ And thats just the headlights. I think youd have to probably change the bumper to. i actually prefer my 2015 front setup over the 2016. I think my next thing will be to get the console lid with the charger built into it.
  8. Ive seen the threads on here of people doing aftermarket adapts. Just curious if anyones gotten the OEM side of it done. By oem i mean GM parts. As i mentioned from say a 2016 model
  9. Anyone done a 2016 console swap? Or just the center arm rest swap for the wireless charging pad?
  10. Their are plugs on the end of the resistors. I wanted everything to be easily removable and clean. Taking the lights out is literally a 30 second thing. And the connectors make them as "plug n' play" as possible!
  11. In response to your resistor mounting. I made a little bracket for it. I did not want it mounted to anything painted or plastic with how hot these things get! Took alittle finagling. But I think this will work great. Aluminum bracket so hopefully that'll help cool it quicker. All with stainless, locking hardware. Didn't need to drill any holes into the truck as there was a factory hole not in use.
  12. Eh. Your just one of those guys. You pre judged, and you were wrong. I like quoting you for that mere fact. Don't judge something till you know the facts. And yes you are correct on that price. I'm fortunate enough to be in the after market performance parts industry. It helps even with OEM items.
  13. You're special. Maybe that's what you'd pay. I however did not. Maybe you should leave your arrogant remarks until you know the finished product. Thanks. Move on
  14. It is mounted. There is a hole at the top behind the light on the frame. It is mounted inside that. Mounted to metal directly. Nothing touching any plastic. That "hacked" up good enough for you? Far as I'm concerned, this is about as legit "OEM" install you can get.
