For the new PIT number have your service rep do a general noise search. The TSB is only under the 2016 model year so if they are searching under 2015 it won't come up. It is dated Aug 26,2016. Maybe GM is hanging those of us with 2015's out to dry....
My 2015i Suburban is at the dealer right now addressing multiple issues including this one. I am going to give them the new PIT number and will report back. Thanks for the detail!
This is a fairly well known issue. Mine have been replaced twice under warranty. Two friends with 2015 Tahoe and Suburban had theirs replaced also under warranty. I believe the parts were updated from the original. As far as buffeting, there is another thread that will take you days to read through...
Any information you can provide on this would be appreciated. Even the name of your dealer would be helpful. I think there are a lot of people that have been waiting on this.
My service Rep found the bulletin and admitted it looks like a lot of work to fix. I don't want then tearing my brand new vehicle apart if it's not a guaranteed solution. Keep us posted.

That's funny as I just noticed a noise coming from the driver's side this morning - it sounded like it was coming from that location (seat belt housing) and only happens on rougher roads. Nothing from the rear end on mine.
@jasonD, my service dept. can't find that bulliten. Is there another way I can reference it?
Just purchased a 2015 Suburban (no sunroof) with the same issue at 35-45 MPH. I have called my dealer and they are asking for the Service Bulletin number - can someone post it?
