  1. I just read this thread word for word and want to do this bad. I have a 2015 LS (was WT2 for MY 2014) and while getting a tire rotation a sat in a 2015 with the full console. I am gonna make this happen. The seat under the little console is useless. I feel in love with the full console.
  2. Exactly! I still could not imagine that the oil I have caught going into my intake and I could not imagine how it would be good. I have 824 miles and I hope that after some miles it will slowdown but it should be broken in. Could this be the next AFM like issue but on a grand scale. You stay in business with repeat customers. I am very interested when and if we see issue's with this. You would think GM tested these engine's for many miles but who knows. I know my 4.3 had so much carbon the valves would not even seat and the rings were welded in place at 8k miles. They said faulty oil pump seal but the bottom end was perfect
  3. My Catch Can makes a audible hiss that sounds like it is coming from the intake. I drained it for the 3rd time today and got another half ounce. I am amazed at the oil I am catching with the Elite Engineering set up. These engines slobber worse than a 2 stroke LOL
  4. I have caught a good bit of what looks, feels, smells and pour's like pure oil in my last 200 miles. I have caught probably a couple of ounces. I could not even fathom that going into my intake. The Customer service and individualized attention I got from Steve at EE was some of the best I have ever received post sale. I would like to get Blackstone to analyze a sample of the stuff for s***s and kicks
  5. 2014 Double Cab 4.3 EcoTec 3.23 gears all stock. I get 13.2 while towing my 23' bay boat at 60-65mph and 10.8 to 11.2 if I go faster. I wish it had 3.73 to 4.11 gears to keep the RPM's up. I have to lock it in 4th gear to stop the gear hunting on hilly ground. I still wish I had the 5.3 at times.
  6. I know people talk about the DI clicking so here is a video of when it is not DI but a dead cylinder. My truck has always clicked or snapped on take off, but so does the Equinox loaner and my wife's new Fusion. I have been told it is the calipers releasing from the rotor? 2014 4.3 Ecotec gone south http://vid1333.photobucket.com/albums/w621/ocracokenc/IMG_0613%201_zps93s8so8u.mp4 http://s1333.photobucket.com/user/ocracokenc/media/IMG_0612_zpswmhlsome.mp4.html
