They are quite a bit more expensive. The truck came stock with 17s which looked way too small on that big bulky body, so I went with 33s and 20s. After a year or 2 even those looked too small. So I stepped it up to 22s and 34.5s and it looks the best to me and was worth the added cost. You know what they say, you gotta pay to play!

Not bad at all. Rubs the liner in reverse, I haven’t even tied the liners back on it yet. Those ridge grapplers are the best tire I’ve ever ran, and I think I’ve had em all lmao

I lucked out and completed my antenna delete not even trying to fix the whistling noise my truck had intermittently. It's super easy and you can use a plug from the rear inner bed sides to cover the hole in the factory antenna cowl cover. I simply disconnected the antenna and ran it inside the engine compartment along the inner fender. No change in reception quality, no whistling and a clean shaved antenna look.

It's something in the front fender door area, my truck whistled like crazy and then somebody hit me in drivers fender, bodyshop removed door to color match new fender and since then, I can't get the truck to make the noise in over 3k miles since it being repaired. No matter the speed, it simply will not whistle.....I think it's door alignment.

Halogen & LED Headlight Bulb Upgrades
junkyardz replied to Ezekiel2517's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
. Unfortunately I cancelled my order for them..although they did tell me they were in the process of developing a led kit that would work with the SLE lights, and it would include everything you would need for the install. -
Shorten radio antenna on a 2014+
junkyardz replied to crankbait's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
removed mine completely and ran it inside passenger fender, used a bed rubber cap to fill in the hole on the plastic antenna base cover... looks much nicer with no antenna -

I confirmed that warranty can be transfered for a unused kit with a call to TRS..I sold mine 35w kit today..I just hope the vled LMZ works right since I have sle lights with the DRL feature working off the bulb and not led bar like SLT lights. -
Passenger Door Rattle
junkyardz replied to MurphDDm4's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
. my 14' is quiet as a church mouse and my c5 z06 was tight as a drum...may have looked dated on the inside, but the car didn't rattle at all. I've rode in $100k cars that rattled like a marble in tin can, aren't any of em completely rattle free throughout their life...nature of the beast. -
