  1. With my experience in the auto industry (9 years as a Toyota service writer) I would have to say it all looks factory done. The wiring has all the protection behind the bumper. When I found no switch I expected there to be bulbs but no wiring behind lights. It appears to only be missing the switch.
  2. Yes it appears that the wiring is there. The gauge cluster seems to have the indicator light. I am going to check out a wrecker this weekend and see what I can find there.
  3. I pulled the switch out and there appears to be the wiring and the connector to attach to the fog light section of the switch.
  4. Ah. Someone did something funky because the headlight switch below the dimmer knob doesn't have the fog light switch just the dimmer indicator. When I went under the front bumper I wasn't expecting the wiring to be there for the fogs? Should the fog light switch just plug and play?
  5. I recently purchased a used 2008 Silverado. The vehicle has fog lights in the front bumper and the wiring to the lights but is has the headlight switch without the fog light switch. Was there some kinda recall or repair required to change the switch? I searched online and both types of head light switches are available.
