  1. I went back into the module tonight and realized I only got the plastic thing out. The magnet was stuck to the middle of the coil so I pulled the magnet out and it worked. It even works with a fake leather case I got on amazon. Seems to be charging very slowly but charging nonetheless. Does the thickness of the case impact the amount of charge it can pull? Basically does it charge faster without a case vs with a case?
  2. I have a 2016 Sierra All Terrain X and just got the iPhone X. I went ahead and followed your instructions and removed the plastic/magnet piece and the phone will charge sitting right on top of the charger/black box but when I install everything and try the phone on the rubber mat on top of the lid I get the little green lightening bolt on the screen for maybe 3 to 5 seconds and nothing happens with the phone. I tried to unlock and put it on there while unlocked and I still get nothing. It seems like the rubber mat is too thick maybe. My rubber mat is the one with ridges so it does raise the phone up a tiny bit. I am testing the phone with no case too. Is there anything else I can try? I really dont want to pull out the rubber mat. Any suggestions AlabamaBishop? Thanks a lot GM...this is just ridiculous...
  3. New to the forums. I just picked up a 2016 All Terrain X a few weeks ago and I'm loving it so far. I wasn't feeling the sport bar so I asked the dealer to pull it off for me and toss it in the bed. Just as I was about to hop in and pull away I thought to myself I should probably test the cab brake light and sure enough it was dead. I wished I had seen this thread ahead of time because I was there another 3 hours before the tech figured out how to get it working again. He said he couldn't find anything in the GM resources he had. Poor guy was stuck but he wasnt going to give up. He finally figured it out and had me on my way. I have the bar sitting in my garage in hopes to sell it on craigs list or something. It is practically brand new and has all the hardware and wiring on it. Is there anyone that would be interested in picking one up? I am in the Northern Virginia area. Shoot me a PM if you might be interested. Robert
