  1. Dealer quoted me 500$ to replace the lines. I wasn’t aware the lines could be shipped to my door for 100$ CDN. Im considering doing this instead. What sucks is I know the lines will fail again. Also the lines are leaking down low closer to the transmission. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. No one? Alright well when I get around to tackling this, I'll come back and post about it. Maybe add some photos/instructions based on my experience
  3. I have the same issue many have had. Leaking where the lines are crimped onto the hose. I’m going to fix this myself but just had a couple questions. Can I dremel the crimped portion off while it’s in the truck and can I disconnect the lines there without draining any transmission fluids? Lastly does anyone know what size the line is? I want to order a flaring kit but want to make sure I have the right size. Thanks in advance!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No one eh! Figured someone else might have had this problem. Off to the dealer I go!
  5. Noticed this the other day - 2014 Sierra crew cab standard box, limited slip and 3.42 gears. It doesn’t always do it and mostly seems to do it when turning in a parking lot. However, one time I heard it pretty good going straight at low speed (also in a parking lot). any ideas??
  6. Why not just get the Morimoto Sierra Spec kit? It's worth it to have all the parts come as a package. It's practically plug and play after.
  7. Can anyone help me out here? I got the Sierra spec kit yesterday and installed it. Install went well, headlights work great but I noticed a slight buzzing sound sometimes from the ballast on the drivers side, and it goes away and sometimes it sounds like it's the igniter. I can't hear any buzzing whatsoever from the passenger side. I can also only hear the buzzing with the engine off. Lights seem to work well, they both turn out fine and are steady. I think I did notice the smallest amount of flickering while driving on a dirt road though. It was very minimal though. I tried reversing a few plugs and nothing. Anyone have any ideas? It's the Sierra spec morimoto kit with 35w ballasts and 4500k bulbs. Thanks ***Update, I think it wasn't flickering but rather just the washboard road and because the lights are brighter, that cutoff can be slightly more jumpy. However the slight buzzing on the one side remains.
  8. I just bought the Morimoto 35w Sierra kit. If I decide these suck and down the road I want to add the Lexus RX projectors, is it as simple as just buying the projectors and adding them to the kit?
  9. That just looks great. Awesome looking truck.
  10. I just drove 6 hours in the storm yesterday. My impressions of the tires are this. Really good in snow, so so in slush, not great on ice. Ultimately, I'd say they are as good as dedicated winter tires, but not as good as top of the line dedicated winter tires. I had brand new Yokohama ice guard ig51v's last year and they were better than the K02's in all snow conditions I've faced so far. Having said that, the fact that they are as good as most winter tires (except the better ones) is good enough for me! Pretty amazing really for an All-Terrain.
  11. 16k Miles, have owned it for a year and 2 months. or 26k kms
  12. I'd be interested in knowing what everyone's road force balance numbers are.
