Considering shipping new truck from Laura
88junior replied to outrag1's topic in 2019-2025 Silverado & Sierra
Laura has a shuttle that will pick you up from the airport. Personally, I would fly out and drive my new truck home. What a way to break in a new truck. -
Bought my 19 AT4 from them 4 years ago. No issues and would go back to buy again. The only haggling was on my trade and they offered me more than I expected to begin with so the process was easy and fairly quick. It took me longer than I thought it would only because my truck had just come off the trailer and hadn't been prepped yet so I had to wait a bit for that.

Dumb question about 2021 gmc 1500 tailgate
88junior replied to Alabama's topic in 2019-2025 Silverado & Sierra
I've seen it advertised that way and have used mine more than once to haul stuff with no issues. -
Did all this weather upgrade my elevation?
88junior replied to ero2's topic in 2019-2025 Silverado & Sierra
Just another of many electrical gremlins in these trucks. Funny thing is I actually have an AT4 and I've never seen that. -
Aftermarket LED reverse lights
88junior replied to Junger20's topic in 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Mods
I haven't done anything in regards to my reverse lights to this truck, yet. But, on previous trucks, I installed Rigid light pods. Easy to mount under the bumper and the light output was excellent. Plus, the 3 way switch was great. I could use the lights while hooking up a trailer at night or for anything for that matter. If I remember correctly, the kit was around $300 which is kind of steep for lights but it was well worth it.- 22 replies

Disabling power tailgate release button
88junior replied to Descartian's topic in 2019-2025 Silverado & Sierra
I hit mine by mistake and the tailgate opened and hit the concrete wall in my parking garage. Minor damage but man was I mad. I'm pretty sure that's the only time that button has been used. -
Input on Amp Research power steps
88junior replied to NonTypicalCPA's topic in 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Mods
I've had mine on since about a week after I got my truck. Love them and will put them on any truck I buy. No issues whatsoever. -
AMP power steps
88junior replied to Ghost Sierra's topic in 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Mods
Same on mine. I checked after they were installed to make sure they weren't hitting anything and they were just barely touching at the rear of the cab on the mount. Shaved maybe 1/16 of an inch off and the noise is still there. I've gotten used to it over the last year though. When I hear it walking away after parking it, I know the steps are up where they belong. Same when I get in to drive away. -
I have driven Dodge, Ford, Chevy and GMC trucks my entire adult life. In my opinion, they all suffer from quality control issues and they get worse with every new vehicle I buy. I hate to say it but they dont make things like they used to. Having said that, I have been pretty happy with my 19. It has just shy of 40,000 miles on it and it has yet to be in the shop for anything other than recalls and oil changes.
