  1. i believe this is intended functionality. i thought i heard that when the system stops pumping coolant, that it'll let out pressure on the high pressure side so the next time the compressor clutch kicks in it doesn't have standing high pressure and easies the on/off duty cycle
  2. one is much, much more expensive than the other. but seriously, same thing, gm uses both the kicker p/n and their own internal you can use to compare
  3. the fix is a different bulb, and i believe the pcm flash will give that bulb a little extra voltage. i'm surprised they already have it out to dealers yet but if you wait a bit longer it will probably be more widely available
  4. Sorry, after reading through this read I wasn't able to find anyone that spoke as to how this "frame rust" affects the performance, drivability, or longevity. Not to be nit-picky, but is this just a general "it shouldn't be this way so I'll complain on the inter web" or has someone actually had the frame rust to pieces or cause some other component to be non functional or unserviceable?
  5. i installed the power gate system in my truck, like others said the firewall grommet was a bitch. also getting the sill plates off always sucks, so does putting them back on. having a trim panel pry kit would be my recommendation. also start at one end of each, pry it up little and get a look behind where the retention tabs are. then get your pry tool as close to the tab then wedge as you'll bend/break them in no time and they'll never go back in the same. make sure you test route all your wires too. my sub amp power line barely made it. to the guy with the under-steat storage: the sub box takes up the entire passenger side under-seat area. you'll definitely need to cut that thing up.
