  1. They did work on my torque converter back in 2016 eventually GM replaced the entire tranny for a brand new one. 2 years later in late 2018, the exact same thing started again on a trip up to my lake house. As soon as I had the time, I went straight to the ford dealership and sold the truck in a swap for a 2018 fi150 platinum. Couldnt be happier. I do miss the big 6.2 v8 thought
  2. Hey guys, thought Id throw this up here just for informational purposes. Before getting these tires, I researched and researched and never was able to find multiple examples of a definitive answer as far as how big I could go with just a level. So here ya go, hope this helps: 2015 LTZ Silverado 6.2 Stock GMC polished wheels (caps swapped with bow ties) 275/65r20 TOYO OPEN COUNTRY R/T No rubbing at all in any direction under any circumstance. I am moving up from 275/60r20 bgf ko2s and I gotta tell ya, these tires ride significantly better with very minimal road noise and they look great. MPGs have taken a hit though, but I didnt get a truck with a corvette engine to get good MPGs. Hope this helps anyone out there searching to see how big they can go under a leveled truck
  3. Just take it into the dealership. I had the same issue on my 2015 8 speed and had to live with it for almost two years until they figured out a fix for it. They did multiple updates to the programming, new TC but that was a while back and I think the tech didnt follow directions properly as far as the trans flush and such. Anyways, they finally ended up replacing my entire transmission and the problem solved. It drives perfectly fine now in all aspects. So, if a new TC doesnt fix the issue dont take no for an answer, GM will replace the tranny. You just have to be persistent and polite
  4. 2015 6.2 8 speed z71 here. Thought Id drop a line here for anyone interested. Ive had my truck at the dealership multiple times for torque converter shudder. It didnt develop a shudder until prob 15k miles. But from day one, the transmission always seemed a bit off. Sloppy shifting, shaking, ect, just weirdness. A few months ago, I had the TC replaced to address the shudder issue, but not a damn thing was fixed. Nothing. So I dropped it off last week following a stent in limp mode one day. Seems as though they hired a trans tech that actually knows what hes doing. He followed GMs recommendations and the shudder was never fixed. So FINALLY, GM agreed to give me a brand new Tranny. I picked my truck up a few hours ago and drove it 30 miles home and it drives like a totally different truck. NO SHUDDER, CRISP SHIFTS, RIGHT GEAR CHOICES. Oh and no hesitation when putting it into gear like before either Just thought Id let you guys know.

  6. Mine is no slight sudder, the steering wheel shakes hard enough to jingle my keys. Feels like going over rumble strips. Ive had the converter replaced but it fixed nothing. Theres always a chance the tranny tech, did a poor job though.
  7. Mine started this way. Now I have full on shudder when the needle jumps. Do you feel any vibrations when the needle jumps? The tach is jumping bc the torque converter isnt working properly. Do you have an 8 speed?
  8. did the tachometer jump when the shake occured? and was it constant or intermittent?
  9. Would you mind sharing with us what your symptoms were before-hand? Ive got a big torque converter shudder issue. My truck shakes like mad, shifting between gears and under light throttle. Torque converter was replaced and nothing changed. I also have and 8 speed with the 6.2 though.
  10. Just a head up for you guys, I had the torque converter swap done and it absolutely did nothing to help the shudder. NOTHING. Keep that in mind when talking with your dealers. 2015 6.2 Siverado z71
  11. Here's mine, picked her up last week 6.2L Z71. 2" Tough country level and 275/60r20's. Also, had the dealer get rid of the chrome 20's that came from the factory and swap in 20" brushed aluminum.
  12. I agree with you on this, most white letters just look bad, but then again most are not solid block lettering and outlined. BUT for some reason BFG just looks "right" with the white lettering. Maybe its because ive run my BFGs like this for over 10 years so Im used to it. I dunno. But I did the BFG white out.
  13. I dont think the KO2 is offered in this size
  14. Im a little upset the size i need 275/60r20 isnt offered with a white letter option. Half the reason I love BFG's are the white letters. I dont wanna go down a size to the 275/55r20 (they do come with white letters), bc a beefier tire ultimately solidifies the look of any truck. BFG! Get it together and offer white letters on ALL your tires!
