  1. Do the rear vents work on all settings or only on the floor setting? I usually roll around with the heat on the windshield because I don't like heating blowing in my face, so would the rear seat passengers be getting any heat on defrost setting?
  2. I always swerve to avoid bags on the road, they are a menace.
  3. Replaced my battery and for some reason the speedo was stuck on max. I unplugged the cluster and plugged it back in, solved the problem.
  4. My front brake calipers didn't have the little clips that the tops and bottoms of the brake pads ride along and that caused a bit of a rattle. It wouldn't rattle when I had my foot on the brake but when they were loose they made a bit of sound on rough roads.
  5. I actually got gas on sale for the equivalent of 3.17/Gallon in Canada which is $0.84/Litre. That's about $0.20/Litre cheaper than most places around here right now.
  6. It was interesting seeing all the work you've done to your truck, good job!
  7. Some guy in a Nissan Altima tried to pull in front of me when his lane was ending and I started to get on it for a split second and decided to play it safe and let him go because the last thing I want to do is cause an accident. Although it should have been my right away, I'd rather not wreck my truck just to stroke my own ego. The Nissan seemed relatively quick, probably the V6 and looked pretty new so maybe it was best I just "let" him in. How come a cop is never around to see these fast and the furious wannabes?
  8. Washed all the interiors of my truck; engine bay, cab, box, greased the driveshaft, topped up the tire pressure, sprayed some wd40 on the locking mechanism on my cap because it's being a prick, took knee bolster off and plan on listening for the mystery rattle somewhere in my dash(the truck has more rattles than I can count that I want to eventually track down and correct), taped up a weathered conduit in the engine bay for my MAF sensor wires. Later I am going to hopefully find out where that annoying dash rattle is coming from.
  9. When I put mine on the scale the other day(02 Silverado 1500 Ext. cab RWD) it weighed 5500lbs with me in it and a few hundred pounds maybe worth of misc. stuff. I also have a cap.
  10. 3900 hours and 170500km, give or take. I think an old man owned it before me.
  11. I think I may have that exact same problem, going to check it out tomorrow. Also I put on a new muffler today, sounds a lot louder than the stock muffler. Somehow broke a leaf spring shackle today too.....
  12. Did 6-Hi mod with Lows/Highs/DRL. No fog lights equipped though, either thinking about adding them or spot lights in the future.
