2014 GMC Sierra SLT Bose w/ Kicker Upgrade
  2. Yes it works with the Bose. The system I purchased is this one . It is a sub w/ 200w app and and the wiring harness. The only wires you run are one power to the battery, and the other wire taps in to an existing speaker line (there is a ground line also that you'll secure to a frame bolt near parking brake). The wire tap was done in the factory harness on driver's side under parking break, (see my 2nd picture in the sequence above). There are 2 wires twisted together (brown with blue stripe and solid blue wire) tap into those. I emailed Kicker to verify, and they even sent me a pdf with good install instructions. PM me if you want a copy.
  3. A plastic putty knife works pretty good too, and is much cheaper.
  4. I have the Bose option in my truck (2014 Sierra SLT Crew cab) and wanted a little more thump, so I picked up the Kicker sub upgrade from a store on eBay and installed it and have been very satisfied with it. Here is my post on a different forum for more details with pictures of install if you are interested. in case you aren't able to see the pics on the other post, here they are... new in box wire harness showing wires to tap wire taps grommett finished
