I had the really loud pop (like a rock hitting the windshield). It actually seemed to come from the dash. The noise would happen about every 10-15 minutes. Dealer replaced my windshield. I was skeptical that it would fix it since it sounded more from the dash. It didn't stop instantly; but only happened a few times after installation. Haven't heard it in about 1500 miles now.

I sat down with my service manager today and found the service bulletin. It wasn't under 2015 GMC Sierra, it was under 2014 and included the 2015 Sierra. I have the print out of the TSB if anyone wants it. Hope this helps!
