  1. Kind of expensive for behind the grill in my opinion. I used a 3 foot 1x1 aluminum tubing painted black for about 12 bucks and just bolted it to the arms holding the radiator. Actually mounting the light bar was the easiest part to me, it was getting the grill off and on that took some time.
  2. Took your advice and I think it is going to be way better. Started doing it this weekend but ran out of daylight before I got the grill off. The 7mm bolts on the side are super tight and I can't get a wrench or a socket up in there.
  3. So I got a 30 inch light bar I am going to put behind the grill on my 14 SLT Sierra. I went ahead and bought a harness and plan to run it through the grommet and put it like the OP on the rubber beside the tilt lever. 3 questions....1.) how did you guys mount the lightbar and what did you use? Pics of possible 2.) Is the grommet on the driver side the best place to run the harness through? 3.) will I have to cut the switch off and rewire it to fit it through the grommet and rubber piece? Main thing I'm worried about is not breaking anything when taking the grill off and how I'm going to mount it
  4. It is 4x4. Mine are stock 20 rims. Was it a bad rub or manageable?
  5. So I got a set of Hankook AT-M 305/55/R20s today with about 70 percent tread on em for 200 bucks. My question is with a 2 inch rc leveling kit will they fit and not rub? He said that he will give me my money back if they don't fit but I hate to do that really. They measure at 33.2 overall diameter but i dont know if they will hit being a wider tire? Anybody got anything?

  8. I appreciate it! Yeah I have read through alot of that thread but most of the people I see running them are 2.5" lift. Also, I love those HID's. I have the emerald green and think those green ones would look pretty good.
  9. Anyone with a RC 2 inch lift running 275/60/R20 on stock wheels without rubbing. Want to run the Goodyear Duratracs right now in 275/60/R20 unless anyone has anything bad to say about them?
  10. Yea it was just 10 bucks. I moved away from home a couple of years ago so don't have my Dad's stuff to use so I try to just pickup a few things here and there. I figured those ball joints would be tough to separate but then I watched about 15 Youtube videos and they knocked it loose with ease with a couple of knocks. It gave me hope but then I messed around with them and it cost me a couple of hours but finally finished it all in about 4 hours.
  11. Put my RC 2 inch leveling kit on mine this weekend. Brought it up 2 1/4 inches in the front. For those of you that have installed it yourself did anyone have as much trouble as me getting the ball joints to separate. Had to go buy a ball joint separator. I have a z71 4x4 with rancho shocks and mine didn't go near as easy as all the videos I saw. It looked like the lower a arm is a little different on the 2014s which made it seem like it was much harder to pry the shock over the spacer. I was doing it myself so that may be why. It definitely wasn't an hour and half job like some have done on here. I spent that almost on the first ball joint and then the other side started so I went and got a separator. Broke the rubber thing to do it so probably won't hold grease to well so probably be replacing a ball joint sooner than normal. Not sure if pics posted
  12. Got it Monday...black vinyl to black out GMC emblems and Peragon tonneau cover are on the way. Want to add RC 2.5 leveling kit with Mickey Thompson 275/65/R20 soon when the money comes back!
