  1. Does anyone know the stock exhaust pipe size going into the muffler on a 1997 K1500 Silverado Extended Cab 3 Door? The ID and OD both. It is a 350 V8 with true duels up to the muffler

      On my 98 5.7 350 it was 2"

  2. Just replaced blower motor and resistor in a 97 Chevy K1500 and I'm still not getting any air on any speed. Everything is hooked back up. Any reply will be helpful

Possible relay, you could try robbing another one just to test if there is another relay that fits in the socket. You need to confirm you have power at the motor. Other than that you've got 3 areas: Fan motor, resistor and switch. The switches are fairly notorious for frying, I'd look there next, pretty easy to remove and inspect the back side and plug for burning. With the switch out jump the wires and see if the fan will turn on.

I also should have said I just bought this truck too. It turns out the previous owner had the heater switch unplugged and never bothered to tell me or plug it back in. It works fine now. thanks for the help

Ha! Glad to hear you got it figured out, it's -10 here this morning, no heater fan would suck! ;-)
